  2. We know she used to put out.
  3. One thing I've noticed - refs really go out of their way to help players not fuck up coin tosses. Dante Moore had no idea what he wanted. I'm glad it happened to us because it adds to the lol legend of Coach Strong, but that ref must have been a prick.
  4. BG3 is an incredible game and is really truly like playing D&D with a good DM. The systems are all sooooo well realized, if you can think of a lateral solve for a puzzle or challenge, or get out of a tight situation with stealth or charisma checks, the game still rewards you with XP and progression. It's some stellar game design, and a big BIG game that lets you do quite literally whatever the hell you want.
  5. Alabama and Georgia both looked like really good teams. That was an elite level game worthy of the hype. Penn State Oregon was also pretty good across the board. LSU Ole Miss was another elite level game. If you think any of these teams are bad or looked pedestrian you don't really know what's going on in college football in general. Georgia tech wake forest? That was some pedestrian shit. Still a fun game, but those teams both get blown the fuck out by any of the 6 teams I just mentioned. Auburn TAMU? Both of those teams looked so fucking ass. Some of you really just can't assess what's going on or what the difference in levels of competition is?
  6. Knowing what we know about APD, which scenario is more likely: 1. APD actually ran DNA samples 2. They looked on Wikipedia for a deceased obscure serial killer they could pin it on.

  8. From the people that brought you The Sims, FIFA, and 9/11...
  9. It’s been beyond time to move on from Piglet in Lexington and hopefully the AD is feeling the heat as well.
  10. So who will they choose as the Nicklaus Jacklin award recipient? Does JT earn it by spending half his time trying to quiet the American crowds to no avail? Of course the other half of the time he's trying to hype them up when his partner's nailed a putt to bail their ass out. Maybe they give it to Rory simply for having to put up with the disgraceful actions of the American "fans" all weekend long. After reading the article from Golf Digest that @4th&Five linked not only does he deserve it, but if he took his driver upside the skull of one of those assholes I'd raise a pint glass to him. Or here's a thought: once Europe earns 2.5 points to get them to 14--which they could do by the 4th match--Luke Donald could instruct his team to concede every remaining match. Europe retains the Cup at 14 - 14 1/2, the Americans have to eat a plate of shit knowing that they were gifted twice the points they earned to prevent an ass whipping for the record books, and Luke gets the sportsmanship award.
  11. It doesn't get any easier for the next 3 weeks, after that it does soften up some.
  12. It was inside the 10. That was so stupid. Tie the fucking game and then worry about winning it later.
  13. Bama looked like shit against FSU and then comes and looks like a championship contender against UGA. LSU was elite after Clemson and then struggles to put up 20 points against Florida and Ole Miss. Penn State and Oregon didn’t look any better than us in our game in week 1. College football is wide fucking open. We have the defense and special teams to compete in every game. Our offense HAS to come together. Given that we’ve played the last few weeks missing most of our veteran starters, a base vanilla playbook, a young offense that needs some games to gel, it’s not a stretch to think that this offense is going to improve drastically come Florida and should improve week to week. While UF and ou can’t get their shit together on offense, they both have VERY good defenses. If we put up 24-30 in those games, that will be a very good sign that the offense is improving.

  15. It’s not really debatable. Except in directional parking lots, it’s the safest way. One of the myriad resources is linked below. Every significant oil and gas and transportation company requires it for that reason. I was drilled on it many times in my time with Unocal and Chevron. I can vouch for the bolded portion. Did you do this? Smith System (driving) - Wikipedia IIRC, it was explained to me, since you are already in a moving car and entering the lot at this time is when you are paying the most attention to your surroundings. Once you left the store or building you can be distracted by co-workers, something in the lot, packages, bags, your briefcase. Now your chances of having a backing accident have gone up because the driver is not paying attention to the next move out.
  16. that actually is a cool story bro, and informative. thanks for sharing.
  17. wasn't the georgia one 4th and goal from like the 5? I'm a "go for it/live a little" type of fan and even i thought that was dumb
  18. A few comedic lines/scenes that stuck with me
  19. And let's not forget they're having the weigh-ins at the Lincoln Memorial. In the next 3 1/2 years, we're going to have a dystopian game show involving executions endorsed by the Justice Department.
  20. Your overall point is 100% on point, but, and I know you aren’t literally making claims about the named players politics, Cunningham’s family probably doesn’t fit the mold. His dad ran for office as a democrat and with his stepmom, Aimee, have donated high six figures to Democrats candidates over the years. They were a big enough deal to host a massive fundraiser dinner in their home that was attended in person by Obama. Your point stands though, because o think they are the outliers. * I only learned this stuff because Aimee was at my table when I was doing volunteer lawyer stuff for the 2018 midterms on Election Day. It’s crazy to go back that place mentally and recall the sheer enthusiasm, energy and belief we all had. The rest is just a bunch of disappointment and rage really. ETA: She was super low key. Just sitting a a table of volunteers taking calls like everyone else. I only thought to look her up when Justin Nelson, the AG candidate walked over and just casually invited her to fly with him and his crew that night to El Paso to watch the returns with Beto and his family. I was like…”this lady seems like a big deal.” She actually declined the invite because Brock had a game that night.
  21. Yeah... let's not...
  22. Today
  23. i’m gonna say something that you aren’t going to hear any other arsenal fans say, but i’m actually a huge fan of florian wirtz and i still expect him to become a key player for liverpool. it’s not unusual for guys to have an adjustment period when changing leagues, teams, play styles, etc. he’s too talented to flop imo.
  24. With gasoline.
  25. That reminds me of the time 25 years ago when I was serving on a federal jury in the late Judge Sam Spark’s court. During a recess he walked into the jury room to chat with us while the opposing legal teams were out in the court trying to reach a settlement. Judge Sam draw a big laugh from all of us jurors when he quipped, β€œA lot of bad lawyering is going on in there”. His baliff Billy was pretty funny too before he got fired. Too bad both have passed on now.
  26. Over promoted coordinators are his kryptonite.
