What lies did Coach Bro tell? I assumed that he played the Mac Brown (FMB) cards, and said things like "I have no plans to leave USC to coach elsewhere."

It does seem that no one on the Forty, from Bru to CDC, has any worries...

He lied like a MF when he said he was 100% committed to staying on as the OC at USC and likely telling Bru he was a Michael Crabtree clone, while his agent was working like hell on the NFL Arizona Cardinals interest.

"If" and "likely". Okaayyy.

As somebody said, if this sort of thing is stated in a text or email (by Bro, Helton, or any SC people), game over. And it's pretty much what I expect to see come out.

I guess I missed some of the in-depth "portal" ramifications. My original question here was really phrased poorly, I just wasn't clear on the schools' control (if any) over the targeted location to transfer, for one thing, and whether or not the new, improved portally transfer rules included not having to sit out a season.

Sorry if this has been discussed on here somewhere, but it looks like Ghirmai will get a lot of work at C this spring. Sounds like he has stud potential. Really, they like all of the 2018 OLs.

There’s also reason to be bullish about Wiley. They want to see him block with the pads on.

I am interested in seeing if the put Eagles in the slot at all, and the same for Young at A-back/H-back/whatever the fuck they’re calling it.

I never understood the consternation with the Wiley offer.  who knows if it will work out but he was a good athlete, an EE  a QB with a huge unfilled frame seems like a pretty good offer.  No clue if he sees the field this year or ever for that matter, but in most years he's absolutely the type of clay you take.

Don't remember much consternation, especially since he was TE2. He was a great eval.

Praise Allah. I know Ghirmai will be in contention for a guard spot but it's nice to have someone (potentially) backing Shack up that won't have to shake the starting lineup.

I was talking about ernie hudson.  will winston be back in ghostbusters 2020?

I believe Ernie is currently on location filming Mr. Magoo 2, Electric Boogaloo-ish, reprising his award-winning role as Agent Gus Sanders. A nation sits on edge to watch the interplay between his character and the reanimated corpse of Leslie Neilson.

Overshown listed as a DB at 6’3, 210. If true, then he won’t be figuring into the battle for Rover and it’ll be hard to get all four of Sterns, Foster, Jones, and him on the field.

i think it was Howe who said Overshown was 220+ around the bowl game.

FWIW I don't have a very good guess at what is up with the episodic "kidney problems." The three big categories of common problems that come to mind are infection (pretty rare to have a young man suddenly develop recurring problems with this), stones (I wouldn't expect him held out, but maybe he has some giant staghorn calculus that someone thinks could cause mechanical injury), and functional failure/ nephritis/ nephrosis (which one would expect to have launched a big workup the first time around). Disclaimer: this is way out of my specialty and routine experience.

Well then, hit the books or hit up one of your colleagues who does specialize in this. Your lack of ambition is astounding!

I don’t recall anyone asking but you obviously can’t help yourself.

It’s true. Unlike the more restrained and less prolific posters here, I offer my thoughts even without invitation.

futureman’s insipid troll game is to say rude and stupid shit to unwitting posters in order to provoke a naive response and the accompanying attention. Ignore it and spare the thread, please.
