  1. For fucks sake, can we hear one injury report without bleeding like a synchronized menarch team? It's a violent sport. You play it right, shit will happen sometimes. That's the price for making more shit happen to the guys in the wrong colored jerseys.

  2. So I met a lot of these guys at today’s meet the Horns event. I hit up the safeties, OL, WR, QB, then DL. I also had a chance encounter with DGF after and got to talk to him for a few minutes. thoughts: Tyler Owens looks the part. Adimora looked a little younger and may still be growing. Not particularly small or anything, just looked as young as he is. Hookfin looks bigger than I thought. I don’t remember Tyler Johnson or Willy Tyler, must have not recognized them. Shepherd has good size. I asked him if his recruitment was really as difficult as it was made out and he said it was a really hard decision. I told him he made the right choice and he said “yeah I did.” He was actually very friendly and seemed like a good dude. Braun looks about like you’d expect and said he was liking it here and it’s a culture change for sure. Marcus Washington looks strong (thick arms) and he was taller than I thought. Jake Smith looks well put together too. I don’t remember Kennedy Lewis either. Roschon is pretty thick. Sweat is really really big. I said “whoa, you’re even bigger than they said” and he replied “yeah, I am.” He was kinda funny. On second thought, maybe that was innuendo that he slipped in Surly style.... don’t remember Myron Warren either. DGF was walking right by me to exit the event and I talked to him for a bit. I told him that I had a herniated disc and it just went away. I said I didn’t have spinal stenosis though, which I heard that you had and he nodded. He said he wasn’t having any pain or any tingling in his arms or anything and that he feels good. I told him I was excited to have him on campus and to keep his head up.

  4. Hey everyone, just got back from Baton Rouge. I was taking my stepson there for an orientation (he got his GED and only qualified for Blinn, aggy, and LSU) and got to hang out with some of the local folks there. Last night, I went to one of the local restaurants and was drinking some beer at the bar and started talking football to some of the people there (of course, I had my UT cap on). A lot of them asked me about Herman and I told them how happy we are with him. I didn't say much because I didn't want to upset them since he turned them down for us. To my surprise, the majority of them said they understood. They talked about how they knew it would be hard for Herman to turn down a job at the flagship university in Texas, about how nice Austin is, the rich traditions of UT, etc... Some of them were wanting to come see LSU play in Austin, and I told them they will love ATX and would have a great visit. One guy there said every Longhorn fan he knew was passionate about the Horns, yet respectful and friendly. Others chimed in about how impressed (and a bit jealous) they are with UT fans and their passion for their team, coach, and Big 12. I asked them about the game at LSU in 2020, and they said it will be difficult for me to attend. Even though it is over year away, tickets are already going for more than $1,000 a piece. One older fan said he has never seen this kind of excitement for a team coming in to play their beloved Tigers. Most, if not all, let me know they were glad we didn't play in the SEC. Gave mad respect for Herman and UT. Anyway, it was great to hear others opinions about UT, and I thought I would share. Hook 'em!

  5. I usually don’t go to stuff like this but my father in law wanted to. I’m in this video, right in the first frame in fact... FWIW... The safeties think Kaden is fine. Didn’t make it to the RBs. De’Gabriel Floyd said he was doing well and wasn’t having any pain or tingling from his neck issues. Sweat is even bigger than I imagined. The whole team looks good.

  7. Second. He's a physical tough inside runner with excellent speed. Imagine being a LB or S and trying to find him in a big jumble of bodies or imagine him getting in behind a pulling Angilau or Kerstetter. You can't see him and when you do its too late and he's gone. Plus it's gonna be hard to square him up because of his stature so that means he should break a lot of tackles.. I'm a huge fan and wouldve taken his commitment back in February

  10. Dude, at this point it’s you versus the rest of the board, AND you’ve repeatedly told people on the Internet they have small dicks. Regardless of your initial stance and whether it is right or wrong, you are basically following an aggy incel playbook step by step. Just stop.

  12. It's folly to think Herman isn't going to conduct at least one all-out scrimmage. It's how he develops the physicality that allows us to beat the Georgias of the world in January.

  15. For years I used to chuckle at how the National Enquirer peddled the notion that there was a "Bonanza Curse" because a few of the stars of that TV western died in early middle age. Life went on, then everybody on Bonanza died, because they were fucking old. The Clinton murder mafia theory is every bit as stupid as insane as the Bonanza theory, only far more dangerous for the safety of our republic.

  25. Well, of course. LSU has to play Texas while Texas only has to play LSU.

  26. first of all, a 4.61 40 would make Jerrin one of the fastest DBs on the aggy roster CB or S of note :: Jerrin Thompson 4.61 40 -- 4.2 shuttle Xavion Alford shuttle 4.5 40 -- 4.5 shuttle Jaylon Jones 4.58 40 -- 4.32 shuttle does changing direction ever factor in to playing FS? What about CB? also of note - their highest rated DBs Erick Young 4.64 40 -- 4.27 shuttle Demani Richardson 4.59 40 -- 4.14 shuttle (the true outlier) Brian Williams 4.75 40 -- 4.47 shuttle Leon O'Neal 4.76 40 -- 4.2 shuttle

  30. So this doddering redass is on a trip to move his daughter into the dorms at UGA and had multiple conversations with multiple people sufficient to obtain a consensus about UGA fans’ views of aggy? Why would he be talking to strangers about aggy at UGA move-in day? Perhaps it had something to do with the aggy hat he was most assuredly wearing, the aggy t shirt he was wearing, the aggy ring he was wearing, the 12 aggy bumper stickers on his Dodge Caravan, the thousand times he said “howdy” to strangers, or him randomly asking stranger about their opinion on the dadgum fightin Texas aggies. Whoop. What a fucking loser.

  38. Problem is that your "facts" are beside the point of the original post, which suggested that A&M didn't "surpass" the UT program despite the latter's historical struggles (which look like an aberration in the program's history). A few more insignificant wins over a few years doesn't mean shit. The point is that A&M had a golden opportunity to "surpass" UT in terms of program perception and acclaim - and, as they are wont to do, they fucked it up. They moved to the most-hyped conference, and in their first year had a media-sensation Heisman Trophy winner, etc, coinciding with late-era tired Mack and then the worst coach in the history of UT football. It was all lined up for them to become the dominant program in the state. And they couldn't do it...they couldn't finish. They regressed almost immediately back to what they've always been - a decent, slightly above-average program. It was teed up for them like never before, and, well, here we are. That was the point.
