  1. Riiiiiight at the break. Then a mad dash for a WC. I hope. I hope I'm wrong and they rebound faster.

There are some good reaction pieces from outside of NPR and his colleagues surrounding this story that you may want to include to balance out the story.
  4. Pretty much what I do now and maybe in a few more years (especially if I remain in TX), I'll investigate if it's worth replacing my traditional AC with a heatpump.
  5. Micro nuclear reactors are coming soon and likely will become a part of the mix. Doesn’t address the joke that is our state regulatory agencies.
  6. Bailout if he dissolves twitter and can’t participate in any media outlets for 10 years. 😀
  7. Yep, baby steps. Keep getting healthy and keep winning series
  8. Loving the homage to noir/detective trope. I'm down for some weird/messed up David Lynch type of world.
  9. Good, let's try to do this again tomorrow eh?
  10. What a stylish stylish show. Actually love the askew angles… actually really resonates for me, purposely throws the viewer off balance
  11. Man... Lower Decks is fantastic. But happy to see SNW renewed already.
  12. I think you and JS1 have mentioned it but really loving the growing collection of sci-fi and sci-fi adjacent content here. Also Jennifer Connelly... still amazing
  13. Same, just hope it's not a mad sprint that ends up futile... which is what's easy to imagine for me even if I try to think positively about the team.
  14. It had it’s moment but of course no where as magical as the original.
  15. No idea if the scale is included in the article, but here's the whole thing. 1-s2.0-S0160289624000254-main.pdf
  16. It's a moot point now, but I really wanted PAC-12.
  17. It's also shockingly depressing how many of our elected state officials don't understand the university receives funding from the federal government, they think it's all from the state. One of my professors was doing a tour of the campus with some state reps I think, and mentioned the tower was built with funding from the WPA, and some of them were incredulous. They thought the state funded it a 100%.
  18. If you haven't participated in this, do so ASAP: https://liberalarts.utexas.edu/aads/racial-geography-tour.html Went on a tour last Friday with Dr. Gordon as part of my grad program and it's eye opening.
  19. Conditions worked out for me where I'm at. Got to see the totality without ay cloud cover, that was such a cool experience. Was able to snap a few decent ones with the phone.
