I honestly can't say enough fuck yous to this horrible fucking vomit fest. Fuck all these fucking fucks who've ever had any fucking thing to do with this disgusting bucket of human shit. Fuck DeLoss, fuck Mack, fuck president whoever the fuck, fuck every regent and their shitty fucking offspring, fuck every little tiny thing about espn, fuck abc, fuck Walt fuckwad Disney, fuck mikky fucking rat faced fuck. The whole goddamn thing is a filthy exercise in disgusting fuckery and fuck anyone who had any inkling it might actually come to fucking fruition and didn't blow the whole fucking thing into the stratosphere. Oh, and fuck Tom Herman, and fuck every fucking fuckwad who hired him and thought this was the fucking direction we needed to go. Fuckers. Fuck.
  2. Where are you located? Those wages aren't happening in Texas yet as far as I can tell. I'm a commercial plumber with 20+ years in the trade, and I've spent the last four months working in the Bay area because I couldn't stomach the thought of working another Texas summer at basically the same wage I've been making for the past 12 fucking years. I hope it starts going up, because like you said we've been underpaid for awhile now. Especially in Austin.
  3. That's right, it's a brisket thread. So quit being such a douchefuck. Because it's not a douchefuck thread.
  4. You some kinda Richard Simmons?
  5. How are we pronouncing this? Asking for a friend.
  6. This is how my daughter wakes up most mornings. These two are inseparable. Zoe is looking at the camera, Hank is in back
  7. Not as much as he used to. But now we're going through 35-40 lbs a week. It's the heartworm meds that kill me. He needs the large and medium dose, Zoe gets the large and small.
  8. I never thought it would happen to me... When I got Hank, I was doing a bunch of remodel work for a neighbor friend named Barbara. She had a friend with a litter of English mastiffs and she was getting a female. I told her I had loved mastiffs since I was a kid but I'm a dog adopter, not a dog buyer so I'll probably never get one. But that's cool, because working at Barbara's house so often I would get to watch her Zoe grow up. So that week I get a call from her breeder friend who says if you're a friend of Barbara's you're a friend of mine. And she offers me a male, for free. That weekend we drove to Cameron, Tx and picked up Hank. We also picked up Zoe for Babs. Barbara had been feeling weak and tired for a few weeks and had to be hospitalized when the puppies were ready to go. I told her I would keep Zoe as long as it took for her to get back on her feet. We had Zoe about ten days and Babs called and said "Bring me my girl!". The dogs got together frequently for awhile while I was working there, but I moved on to other projects, and after about a year Barbara got sicker and sicker. I would go by now and then, but after awhile she didn't want visitors. And Zoe was moved out to an outdoor run 24/7. Two weeks ago Barbara's son in law called me and said that Babs had finally realized that she wasn't being fair to sweet Zoe and wanted to know if I could take her, either permanently or at least as a foster until they could find her a home. I said "This is her home. Bring me my girl." Zoe came back home to us last weekend, and my friend Barbara died three days later. She was a tough old Texas lady, maybe a bit stubborn at times, but she put these two in my path and I will forever be grateful. They haven't missed a beat.
  9. So this guy. My little eight week old, fifteen pound stubby legged needle tooth ball of cuddles has grown into a 170+ lb galoot with a personality the size of Texas. He'll be 2 in October, but his birthday came early...
  10. Well if they change it to Waterloo I hope our airport code is WAT.

  13. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but I believe you're putting waaaaay too much stock in the age statement. Obviously age has a lot to do with the flavor and drinkability of a spirit, but it's absolutely not the final word. Master distillers and blenders have been trying to ditch the age statement for years because it's limited the products they can put out from year to year. In my (probably shitty) opinion, the only good thing that might come from this bourbon craze bullshit is that age statements might become only part of the lure of a particular bottle.
