  1. Barbs-B-Q is going to have an interesting existence. I don't think it'll work with one-day a week for barbecue. However, Lockhart might be the only location it would - they are clearly counting on barbecue tourists to make it work. People will travel to Lockhart for barbecue and Saturday would have the most people. Still not convinced that it will work, though. I want to check it out, but there will probably be a crazy line with all of this publicity. Hope it works for them.
  2. Not sure. I don't have other bird houses or bird feeders. I see nuthatches, wrens, and other birds hoping around some, so maybe not. Either way, owls are way cooler.
  3. Be careful with your daughter. Middle school can be brutal. Don't be surprised that when classmates find out that coach was turned in or fired your daughter experiences some issues from other kids. I have no doubt that there are kids and parents that believe this coach is the greatest guy ever and will back him in what they believe is a witch hunt. I'm glad you found this when you did and went directly to the principal. The coach has no business working with kids.

There is a setting on Apple TV to turn off scores on previews and game links. Not sure if it would cover your specific issue or not, but if you haven't done that - give it a try.
  5. Here's a fairly recent Texas Monthly article. If it were me, I would go to both The Shed and Jay's BBQ Shack.
  6. Finished last night. Great acting and the story done really well.
  7. First sighting of new baby screech.
  8. I'll take Foods that Begin with Q, please Alex.
  9. Looks like kid is going to be eating mystery meals for a while.
  10. Apparently, the background noise primarily consists of "whooshing," "whirring," and "warbling."
  11. I try to keep the truck looking original, but I put in LED taillights for safety - mine and others.
  12. Blue Velvet is probably my favorite fucked up movie - well done and enjoyable. Requiem for a Dream is also fucked up and well done, but more disturbing than enjoyable.
  13. I thought of that one as well. At least partially filmed in and around Austin. I wouldn't consider it a favorite of mine, though.
  14. Get a mule to row you across the St. Lawrence River under the cover of darkness.
  15. Austin Serial Killer being covered by the news, so it has to be real.
  16. I started to notice that I couldn't afford rent and didn't own a car . . .
  17. Swayze has really good taste in barbecue. I can attest to the greatness of Swayze's list for all but the two I haven't tried (Brisket & Rice and Butter's).
  18. If Logan was left handed, he might have started the line from the other side.
  19. Found a cool place to take some pictures of the old truck.

That's cool. I wish I would caught that - looks like its already over. I can't find the game on Apple TV.
  21. Booked a room off of 290. Would it make sense for them to catch the METROrail out near 610 and 45 and ride that in and back? Or does trying to show up early and parking at NRG make more sense?
