  1. And Rafterman, try not to be too obvious, but I want to see fur, and early morning dew.
  2. Thanks. I really admire your work, so this means a lot to me. Yeah...I was lucky to get that picture of the monk. I was just wandering around looking for opportunity to snap a shot or two, and I heard the sound of monks chanting prayers. When I walked through these entrance halls, I turned around, and there were these monks, one on each side of the entrance. I tried to be unobtrusive, but one of the monks heard me fumbling with my gear, and turned around to face the camera. His picture is less interesting, and looks posed. This monk was more intent on his prayers, and kept on chanting.
  3. Not sure how good these are. Image quality is a bit lacking but I like them. I took these in 1998 with my Nikkormat FTN, had them developed at a local Phnom Penh 1 hour place, and a few years afterwards, scanned them into my desktop using a flatbed scanner, which explains the image quality. Anyway, it's pretty hard to take a bad picture at Angkor Wat:
  4. Yeah, process of elimination...I can only think of 3 left handed players off the top of my head, and this pic is obviously not McCartney or Hendrix. Apparently, I'm not very good with names either. 😅
  5. Tommi Iomi?
  6. Damn...paint a couple red spirals on her cheekbones, and she could be that character in the Saw movies.
  7. Probably only people who call in to the Paul Finebaum show, and aggy trying deserately to sound like they fit in.
  8. Frequently used when discussing how only the SEC plays, "Big baw football."
  9. I get irritated with people like this. He asks you for your advice, you give him very sound advice, and he responds by shitting on your advice. I would have responded by telling him that he can either voluntarily talk to a lawyer now, or he may have to talk to a lawyer later. His choice.
  10. I remember watching this as a very young child in the early 60s. Theme music still hits me. When my oldest brother enlisted in the navy in 1967, I was terrified that he was going to be killed by some kamakazi flying into his ship. Ha...little did I know, Charlie ain't got no submarines...or kamakazi.

And it didn't matter, as Hank still got the most votes. I also remember someone constructed a larger-than-life image of Hank the Hallucination in Littlefield fountain during the campaign. It was hilarious...and you're right; nobody gave a shit about student government then, other than to mock the very concept, and I'd bet that is still the case today.

JMHO, but the whole concept of student government is kind of stupid. Maybe they should hold a referendum on whether to disband student government; it happened before, make it happen again.
  14. Dfigs is a genius the same way this guy is a genius:
  15. This one may be one of the most underappreciated Westerns of all time. I love this flick:

  19. Pairing Lou Reed and Metallica?
  20. Nice area that went to shit in the 80s with the quickness. Candlelight Oaks got hood as fuck too. Yeah, that's a shame. Good thing I haven't lived there since leaving for school in '79.
  21. I had several of those bad boys and rode the bus past the headquarters often-Gayla Industries. Pride of Nawf Side H town. Inwood up to no good. Yep. Gayla HQ on Antoine, just down the street from my old neighborhood. Shout out to Candlelight Oaks.

  23. Another entrant in the 5.7mm club. Hopefully the ammo becomes more plentiful and less expensive.
