Is Tulsi Gabbard A Russian Asset?

So in your opinion, when has he done good?    Just a handful of examples will do.

Getting out of the TPP, the tax bill or what some call the tax scam (which stopped the IRS from penalizing those who didn’t have insurance,) and making the idea of getting out of the Middle East a national discussion (although he is definitely floundering and not following through.)

He fucked up by abandoning the Iran nuclear deal which was one of the bright spots for the Obama administration.

As I said, TDS is a bitch.

Or the Bitch that literally used what they coined a “pied piper” strategy to make sure the media elevated Trump because she thought he was the most beatable candidate. The media legitimized Trump because of HRC.

Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?

Multiple layers of interlocking irony.  The only reason that the general public knows that this was part of the Clinton campaign strategy is because...Russia!

Lol, the media legitimized Trump by giving him his own prime time show for 10 years selling him as a shrewd businessman.

Hillary’s pied piper strategy was dumb but she didn’t make all those people attend Trump rallies and vote for him.  If Hillary could rig both primaries, she’d be president right now.

Russians don’t have much of a master strategy when it comes to election interference.  They wing it as they go, disrupt shit, and then capitalize off the chaos they create.  I’m sure they had a plan for Hillary winning too.

The effective counter to propaganda and other manipulative influence is to plainly make people aware of it.  You don’t even have to be entirely accurate or correct in exposing it, just causing people to stop and question odd behavior and info goes a long way.

Love her or hate her, Clinton effectively stuck a shiv in Tulsi’s balloon.  The gig is up.  Watch.

...and per above, tonight bowing out of Congress.  Aloha !

So you counter propaganda by promoting a different point of view, even if your information is potentially inaccurate or biased.

Isn’t that the definition of propaganda?

A. Do you listen to a lot of Joe Rogan?

B.  Do you find Tulsi Gabbard’s ideas  intriguing and would like to subscribe to her newsletter?

If these things are both true,  then the chances of you supporting any democratic candidate other than Gabbard are less than  zero.

Probably oversimplified, I view it two spectrums outside of inaccuracies or biases: 1) the extent to which information or purported views produced are knowingly false, and 2) the extent to which attempts are made to hide underlying motives.

You can apply that to your partner as much as you could a government, but the means by which you process each is pretty different.  But generally, false information and hidden motives are harder to sustain with more constant and detailed contact.  Things like twitter, FB, and other social media are the great equalizer in that they diminish the depth and color of face to face interactions while also enhancing the 'reality' of AI type interaction.

I think Nate Silver knows virtually nothing about politics and its embarrassing that people keep posting his idiotic tweets on this board.

If you think Nate Silver is a political commentator, you should pay better attention.  He's a statistician with a formal education in economics.

Embarrassing couple of days for the libs who stuck up for Tulsi.

Not just stuck up for Tulsi, but then immediately trashing Hillary.  So edgy, so cool.  Trashing the 2016 Democratic nominee to own myself.

You're right in that his background and formal training has nothing to do with what he currently writes about.

Counter-propaganda is usually messaging used to inoculate the population from foreign propaganda and intimidate the source of subversive propaganda.

Here’s a good example of counter propaganda in Sweden:

Sweden prepares for multi-dimensional defence against Russia

https://www.neweurope.eu/article/sweden-prepares-multi-dimensional-defence-russia/

Quote

The Swedish Defence Ministry also plans to send an emergency advice booklet to some 4.7 million Swedish households to instruct civilians about what to do in the event war breaks out with Moscow.

The government’s plan to set up a counter-propaganda agency was reportedly prompted by recent Russian attempts to influence the outcome of elections in France, Germany and Spain.

Speaking at a security conference in Stockholm on Sunday, Sweden’s Prime Minister Stefan Loefven said that the government is aware of the Kremlin’s efforts to influence the upcoming vote, scheduled for 9 September. The establishment of a new agency will help tackle the threat as well as “bolster the psychological defence of the Swedish public”.

Loefven also added that he would hold in-depth discussions with representatives of Swedish media in the coming weeks to “increase awareness of foreign influence” aimed at the country’s democratic institutions.

Loefven’s statements about his country’s preparedness to counter Russian propaganda and prevent Moscow from interfering in Sweden’s election process mirrors the same concerns as other European governments, but plans by the Swedish Defence Ministry to circulate Cold War-era civil emergency booklets is a significant move by those who are pushing Stockholm to join NATO.

Christina Andersson, from the civil contingencies agency, a Swedish administrative authority organised under the Ministry of Defence, said the decision was “the result of the current security situation in the region” as Russia intensifies its military manoeuvres.

In 2015, the defence ministers of five Nordic countries – Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Iceland – agreed to strengthen their military cooperation to “counter the Russian threat”.

And here is the Russian propaganda response:

Greenwald has been receiving death threats for his reporting on Bolsonaro's regime and one of his close friends was assassinated last year by one of Bolsonaro's stooges and yet many on this board seem perfectly fine to smear him as being some kind of fascist or fascist-adjacent type.

As a politician or as an entertainer?  I tend to think your point lends itself to the latter.

At this stage in his career there is little difference between the things Nasty Nate publicly talks/writes about and what you would hear from some rando airhead panelist on daytime MSNBC.

I wonder if Hilldawg's book discusses the kind of girl power you might find in an open air Libyan slave market.

I wonder if you first heard about these open-air Libyan slave markets a few days ago, because it sure seems like the new talking point du jour among the boot-lickers.

Is it more telling that Tulsi is being defended by Greenwald, BadTeammate, David Duke, or Tucker Carlson?

The David Duke connection is cockamamie.  Just because a shit stain supports a political candidate has no bearing on the candidate themselves.  Greenwald is a great independent journalist.  It seems to me those most afflicted with TDS dislike him due to his hinged coverage of Russiagate.  Tucker is okay sometimes and Badteammate ignores that Tulsi's platform is in line with his beloved Bernie Sanders in a lot of ways but can't concede he agrees with her on anything.  I think it's because of Russia but IDK.

He should put some effort into reporting on the Trump regime.
