Arch played well last night.  He would have been 70-75% completion rate and maybe had another TD if Wingo, Endries, Moore et al just make catches and in the case of Wingo don't let the ground and or the slightest touch ground them.

Come on man, you know that's a bullshit example.

Arch has massively improved, but he also has a grandfather in the college football Hall of Fame, a Super Bowl/MVP winning uncle in the college and NFL Hall of Fames, and another uncle with multiple Super Bowl/MVP titles. All at his position.

The rest of the offense are getting their advice from Sark and their position coaches with limited improvement this season to show for it.

Only a fool would conclude Arch's improvement is solely due to Sark/Milwee and discount all the other advice Arch has from his family of star quarterbacks.

Who you are related to helps, but there is no guarantee of success.

I offer as an example Bob Lilly Jr. whose Dad is an all time college football great, 1st draft pick of the Cowboys, NFL HOFer, and played ins some of the biggest games in the 60's and 70's.

Son was terrible, 3-4" shorter, 50 lbs lighter, and didn't have the drive of Dad.

Brian Griese wasn't elite and goodness knows all the recent Matthews boys aren't dominating the NFL.

Arach has gotten better, he made some great throws last night he wasn't making early in the year and then he absolutely missed some open throws without people in his face.  Growing pains and whomever your family is and the amount of training you have gone through isn't going to get around those issues.

What would help is get rid of the plays that take 4-5 seconds to develop and let him make the throws in the mid area of the field he has shown he can be quite effective.

our gameplans are not half baked.  they are fully baked.  the problem is every party is a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting.

See, that's where you've gone awry. It's not chocolate frosting, it's actually vanilla frosting mixed with an unknown brown substance.

You quite clearly cited Arch's development as an example of Sark developing offensive players.

@BurntEyes says Sark doesn't develop players. You cite Arch's development in rebuttal, clearly attributing it to Sark and his staff.

He said none. I provided one example. I also didn’t claim it was only Sark and the Texas staff as you say. I would assume they are part of it though as that is where he spends his time doing football things. So again, I didn’t do that.

He made some strides after a bad start but this guy ultimately won't lead us where we want to go. When the defense finally settled in, his offense didn't go jack shit. I get there were drops outside his control but he's not someone who is going to elevate his team. Who knows if that can change. 2 games against really good teams this year, both on the road, both very meh overall. 499f8f15e08bbd611cb7af3875e785e8.jpg

Shit OL.  Receivers that can’t catch. But hey at least he has an elite running game to lean on

Its so frustrating to watch college football and see WRs make great catches consistently. Takes a small miracle for one of ours to hold onto the ball when conditions are perfect, forget making a play on the ball

If you haven't figured out by now that Arch isn't the problem for the Texas offense, you know shit fuck about football.

You say "his offense didn't go jack shit". It is not Arch's offense and he balled out best he could. This is Steve Sarkisian's offense and I've seen better organized stoner parties.

Little Baby Jesus at QB couldn't produce enough miracles to help this offense be worth a shit.

Wingo had 2 great snags after a terrible first half. According to the sideline reporter Arch was hyping him up after the drops. Not elevating his teammates tho.

I have to vehemently disagree with you here. I watched him yelling at his teammates trying to fire them up. No one really stepped up and sark was squatting in his playbook. Too busy to see the train roll of the rails in the 4th too busy being OC. Arch plays what he is called to play behind a shit Oline and few people willing to make a play or able to execute one. He dint cause 21 yds of Running offense. Sark thought we ran well. No fucking way.

I'm not going me arch knoblauch fanboi, but last night he did EVERYTHING he could to try to elevate the team, they couldn't get their shit together to perform on his level.

Were you watching the same game everyone else was? At one point, he was around 22 for 30, with about 4 of those incompletions being passes that should've been caught and one (the INT) which should've been negated had the refs not turned to Stevie Wonder anytime UGA committed a penalty. And a lot of that was under pressure and getting the ball out right before getting hit.

Honest question, why the fuck would he stay and not transfer? How has Sark developed and built a supporting cast? Has running back been addressed? Has the line been upgraded or will it? Has/will Sark adjust game planning to his strength? will receivers develop and catch the mother fucking ball?

Why wouldn't he transfer to ol miss?

We have wasted to 5 star supposedly generational talent. That's all on Mr. Al! Gas no brakes while is it the bed Sark

I've said it multiple times and I'm gonna say it again now.

I actually hope Arch transfers if Sark comes back next year. Mainly because I think Sark is severely damaging that young man's future career prospects. If my nephew or son was at Texas (my nephew is) and the professors were damaging his potential career prospects through horrible education, I'd tell them to switch schools. I feel the same way about Arch and don't want his future ruined by the bumbling idiot that it the current Texas HC. Bonus action, if Sark returns and Arch goes elsewhere and does amazingly it will be the nail in the coffin for the fraud that is currently cucking our football program.

The kid looked dejected at the end of the game. I hope it serves as motivation.
