As a wise coach once said, you play to win the game. If we don’t fumble the game yesterday maybe we can experiment more today.

It's going to take some time. For example, Thomas was pretty bad the first part of last year.

Bases loaded with 1 out and speed at the plate?  That's not much of an experiment - a pop up or double play ground ball are about the only way you can fail.  Just about anything else scores a run.

Belyeu's hitless too and if he's such a stud, his bat would be in the lineup already.

I would have given Kennedy the AB.
