I used those in Amsterdam and saw them in Ghent, too.  In Ghent they were funny because they were more like a line of urinals all side by side with little dividers but the front partition stopped at about shoulder high so you could look out and at people while peeing.  Pretty funny.

That's the worst fucking headliner slate I've ever seen.

Granted I don't really pay attention to ACL anymore so maybe this is par for the course now. But I'm not sure I've ever seen them not have even one big rapper/hip-hop artist.

I've got to got to Welcome to Rockville some time.  that lineup looks fantastic and VIP tickets are only 700.00 for 4 days.

I'm just thrilled that The Strokes are opposite Sabrina Carpenter so that big ass crowd will be over at the Amex stage.

I would absolutely go Sat W1(strokes, heavy heavy, modest mouse, car seat, etc) but getting a 1 day for that is going to be nuts.

Prices are already through the roof.  All 3-days are sold out (both weekends) and Saturday is sold out (both weekends).  Aftermarket 1-day tix are roughly as much as the official 3-day tix were.  We're out unless some private sales come up at the last minute.

Tickets this year are crazy which is why we do early bird tickets.

I’m holding out for the Gathering of the Juggalos.

Was looking at some of the early Friday acts.  Saw a band named Amble.  Don't know them.  Google.  First picture tells me its a hard pass:

I don't really put FF in that category.  All the blame for me goes to Mumford.

I could only imagine FF in the somewhat similar vein before Mumford and Of Monsters and Men.  It was the start of me not listening to terrestrial radio.  Now I tune in now and again, but holy smokes, it was so precious at the time, and not the good "precious".

God dammit we are STILL suffering this infernal "indie folk" shit some two decades after it all started.  Which "artist" is responsible -- Fleet Foxes?

Some Irish dude. Must be a leprechaun, I don't know.
