Texas man. Family man. Man of the community.

First ballot Hall of Famer.

Greatness.

Yes, I would hope most of you Texans would be Kershaw fans.  He’s going to retire back in Dallas.  He’s a Texan.  But he’s a true blue Dodger as a player.  He’s a Mt Rushmore LA athlete- Magic, Kershaw, Kobe and pick the 4th.  I say Jerry West.

Steve Garvey - he’s fathered enough kids to garner the votes.

We’re going to have to play the wild card round, but solid win.  Clinched a playoff spot tonight.  Like every year for the last 13.

Great - y'all can rest everyone for the last series.

Right? Right?

I would guess 1&3 on this list are as close as you'll find...

My 7 yo self still remembers where I was for this one.

4-T) 14 runs (1st inning): Reds vs. Astros -- Aug. 3, 1989

Mid-40s self doesn’t really want to psychoanalyze why that is and how that’s impacted social and mental well being

Why is Bos/TB at 6:35 tonight?

Because Jets at Tampa Bay is 1:05 local and we get Manfred’d tomorrow with only 3 games (none of which are TB/Boston)?

16-2 for Cleveland over that span, and 1 game behind Detroit for the division after sweeping them in the last series. They have a very good chance of taking the division now. Crazy comeback for them, with the next 3 games against the Tigers to possibly decide it. Cleveland is up 6-4 on the season series, so they secure tiebreaker with 1 win, which may be the difference.
