I don't like how soft baseball has become, but those are rules now.

You got to atleast try to mask it. Just like the various hard slide rules into 2nd base now. It is not the game we grew up with, but it is the game these kids have been around forever.

Read the fucking rules.

The call was correct and ejection is part of it.

Sorry you don’t understand.

So the catcher can obstruct the plate and stand in the middle of the base path like a fucktard three feet in front of home plate? Naw, fuck that

Yeah, that's my issue, it was textbook obstruction and how is the runner supposed to start his slide that far out. Insane

He was three feet from home plate when he hit the catcher.

What do you mean that far out?

He never attempted to slide at all.

How can you attempt to slide when the catcher is that far out and in the base path? Tell me you never played baseball without telling me you never played baseball.

He did. He started to lean forward then raised up when the ball bounced and he saw the catcher rise up

they should start drawing/marking boxes and lines on the field.  so everyone knows what they have to do where.

the ball wasn't even dislodged by the contact.  if the throw takes the catcher up the line it is the fault of the catcher and the fielder throwing the ball.

Cooper Little Dyke is the Utah Valley closer?

Thats an unfortunate name for a closer

And why is the closer just now coming in? If he pisses it away I guess we’ll know

he tried to hold up and actually did. the dumbass catcher was obstructing 3 feet up the line and straddling the line about 2 feet on either side.  It is a horrible call.  If it was so straightforward why did it take 7 min?
