I mean he did throw for like 400 yards almost vs Oklahoma that one year for us….  That was definitely his college career peak.

He also showed some balls in the Arkansas game only half the team showed up to.

I'll say this in defense of Baxter that Cedric had a down year his jr season after he couldn't work out that whole offseason. Now Im not comparing him to Cedric who was a fucking hoss and an absolute legend but the point is that those offseason workouts matter.

Baxter wasnt expected back until midseason and may have come back too soon for the Ohio St game. He probably didn't get to put in the work Im sure he would have liked while recovering.

Just saying Im not ready to write him off until I see what he can do after a healthy offseason

Anybody know if there's a replay of the RRS on the schedule for this week somewhere?

I'm recording it on the SEC channel tomorrow morning (Thu) at 11:00 AM FYI.

I'm definitely not writing him off until he's off campus. Until he hangs them up in college, whether that be due to injuries or he goes to the NFL, he's still in my good graces. I've seen him do some great things (great hands, blocker, runs through tackles), and we've all seen the lows. Every RB with talent has issues, generational or not (and no, I'm not even close to insinuating he's some generational back. That would be Bijan, AD, D. Henry, Bush), but he has talent, he just needs to toughen up, add muscle and strength, get back to being healthy. He's a really solid RB. Fuck the haters. #teamCB4

Kind of stunned that Texas/ou was the highest rated game this weekend since it went up against Oregon/Indiana (5.59M).

Well, one was two blue bloods engaging in the 121st renewal of one of college football's top rivalries.

The other was New (Found) Money vs......Indiana.

Both of the second two schools MAY have better football teams this year than the first two.  They're still who they are, and we are who we are.

Yeah, going up against one of the best rivalry games in college is not going to end well for most teams. Even when both teams are kinda meh, people tune into this game

Just a reminder that it's been 741 days since 0U scored a TD on Texas.

Will we hit 1000 before next year’s game?  I don’t want to math this morning.

It will be 1,099 days by kickoff next year.

He was still a tad late.
On his TD pass, 0 was open for quite a while before he let it go.

on the other drive inside the 10, on 2nd down he had a Wr WIDE open on an inside move and held the ball a couple beats too long.

still, better overall to hold it than to throw INTs.

Arch is a RS Soph so he has a lot of time to grow.

After 3 rewatches, Arch not throwing this was a good thing. There is a DB/LB sitting underneath the route. He might have been able to fit it in, but he might have thrown a pick… so
