A Democrat hoax that was a cornerstone of his own campaign. I just can't anymore with these dipshits.

Big news for Alan Ritchson as his latest movie Motor City makes its North American premiere at TIFF tonight following its world premiere at Venice: The Reacher star will lead Patrick Hughes‘ untitled Amazon MGM Studios movie about NAVY Seal Mike Thornton. The film falls under Ritchson’s three-picture acting deal with the studio. The latest Mike Thornton project reps a reunion for the Range-repped Ritchson and Hughes who recently completed Netflix’s feature sci-fi adventure War Machine. The film will follow NAVY Seal Mike Thornton during the final days of the Vietnam War as he leads a desperate last stand after five men are trapped behind enemy lines in North Vietnam. Outnumbered by an army of 150 soldiers, they fight through relentless enemy fire before making a harrowing retreat into the South China Sea. With both a gravely wounded lieutenant and fellow soldier tied to him, Thornton swims for hours through hostile waters to reach safety, an act of valor that earned him the Congressional Medal of Honor. https://deadline.com/2025/09/alan-ritchson-mike-thornton-movie-amazon-mgm-studios-1236507275/

Yeah this battle station has not been fully operational and some of the other teams have faltered as well. Hey, it's the dog-days of August, I get it. That being said, some of my frustration lies with what SHOULD have happened in the meantime, if HOU could score than zero runs on a regular basis. See also: losing games when alleged aces are pitching. Hopefully it all corrects itself... maybe.

I developed grinding about 6 years ago seemingly out of nowhere. Probably stress induced. Dentist said I had done some damage to my teeth and my jaw felt really fatigued. I got a custom mouthguard that I still wear. Grinding has gone down significantly. It helps that I made life changes that reduced my stressors. You can get custom mouthguard kits online for 1/3rd the price dentists charge. Comes with various sized trays and putty that you bite into to make a hardened form. Takes a couple weeks to get the guard. You can get a cheapo version like one wears playing sports from any pharmacy, Target, etc...for the meantime.

Nah, they would still suck, and have less cashish. The money is all that matters anymore anyway.

I genuinely didn’t think opposing child rape would be the thing that finally made MAGA turn on MTG. Strolled right past the antisemitism and space lasers and loads of other bullshit but THIS? Wanting justice for child victims of the rich and powerful? Get out.

In theory but Texas plays best when we are challenged and can play up to our competition. If we're playing Houston, SMU, and Tech those games mean 10X more to them than to us (aka "jihad") and we get complacent and soft. That's not an excuse for losing those games, it's an observation of how it actually worked.

And another 15-20 million for the first year of the next coach and staff.
-
So if we had gone 28-21 instead (92-win pace, not unreasonable), we’d be three games clear of the rest of the AL. I think the bitching and moaning has been justified.

Mickey's Malt Liquor for the win in my book.

Even if the FSU game was a precursor to a 6-6 season, does Bama have the $$ to buy him out? That's $60MM+ after the season as I understand it.

No, like armybrat old. -
Well. OU sucked shit from '96-'99 - in that span Texas played them twice. The last 3 that Nebraska played in OU did beat them twice and Texas beat them once.

@BearSchlong You know better than most that going to church and being aware and in search of the divine does not confer immunity to worry and stress or depression. Elijah and Jeremiah both were ready to check out. Fuck it, this sucks, everything is shitty and I just want to die. What I got out of their recovery was the essence of the farmer parable We don't know everything. No matter how much we think we do. It's not as shitty as we perceive it to be. Doubt your doubts. And get a nap and some food. Don't fucking give up no matter what. Make the universe take you out. Refuse to fucking die Sisu.

RSV isn’t bad for most adults. It’s babies and older folks that can’t handle it well. I don’t think it’s even approved for healthy adults, is it? -

It appears we'll settle into a consistently steady pattern of warm, dry, sunny days next week. Daytime highs in the mid-90's, but pleasant mornings and evenings with low humidity. It ain't gonna feel like Fall, but it ain't blastfurnace.

You might not have access to hospitals or vaccines, but at least you don't have to worry about the horrors of red dye #40.

Not 100% sure, but wife and I felt like we had mild cases of RSV a couple times last year. Didn't get tested as we never went to the Dr, just treated with OTC meds. Any thoughts/experience on the RSV vax? I was thinking about the RSV along with flu. And I haven't had Covid 5G boost in a while, so that one as well. Probably not all at the same time so as not to short circuit things. Will check my HEB tomorrow (if open) to see what they have in stock. -
My brain is basically wired to scan through the apps on my phone by the color of the icon. It's convenient then that app developers love frequently changing the entire color scheme of their icon.
