  1. Past hour
  2. How are they not relevant? Very few of us are actually at practices, so there’s no trendline that exists for us other than practice reports, which are typically incomplete because people who attend typically aren’t focusing on offensive guards, and if they are, there’s a decent chance they don’t know what they’re actually looking at
  3. Looks like they're in the sink and not stuck in the disposal, so you're winning.
  4. You do realize that VA disability is different than SSDI? SSDI is related to one's ability to work and VA disability is related to disabilities from service and not based on the ability to work.
  5. I think that's known in the business as a blowbang.
  6. It was the real deal before all of the injuries.
  7. What was "the emergency"?
  8. The problem being that neither of those dudes are anywhere close to the elite talent that you guys last year with Henderson and Judkins. Peoples had 197 yards and 4.0 YPC. Donaldson, we knocked his ass out for 2-3 games in 2022. That room scares no one with a serious defense. We return a 1K rusher and are getting back the most complete back on our roster. He is a health risk, but so is Donaldson (if you are being honest). We also much better depth at the position that you guys do. We also have the much better OC that will max our talent better than Hartline. He of the 3 offensive points against Missouri in the 2023 Cotton Bowl. You better hope your OL is 10X better than their experience dictates they will be on Saturday or it get ugly.
  9. Well. I think I am now going to this game. Anyone selling a single ticket? If you are going, where are you sitting? I will likely end up buying a solo ticket but trying to do my best to avoid an asskicking. Where is the allotted section for longhorn visitors? Thank you.
  10. Crowd noise could affect a new OL playing together for the first time - particularly one with a new C. A few false start penalties won't surprise me, and are the home crowd's reward for a job well done. Crowd noise won't affect a competent QB. They're already used to playing silently with signals. Get the play call over the headset or from the sidelines, identify your key reads on defense (using motion to tip coverages if applicable), signal your hot reads, the snap on a count. Verify your read was correct (otherwise adjust) and let the ball rip on time and on target. The longer a play goes on, the more the chance of an open receiver approaches 100%. Texas ruined the reputation of some stellar DBs when the DL couldn't ever get to the QB. I do not expect that to be a problem this season. Our DBs will be told to stay in the hip pocket of the receiver until the QB is on the ground. It shouldn't be a long wait. Now swagger is unmatched. Gawd help us if the swagger is unleashed.
  11. Although those statements are undoubtedly true, are they relevant to this issue? My skepticism and concern are based on the fact that the positivity about Stroh seems like a suspiciously recent development. I am, however, frequently wrong and underinformed. If there has been a noted trend line for Stroh's development that I have missed, I would appreciate someone calming my tits for me.
  12. Howard was the least sacked QB because his running was respected and Ds played contain on him and not because the tOSU OL was otherworldly.
  13. Parse it how you want, I guess - I'm not trying to mislead. 3 of those guys started on the OL against TX in the CFP - the 4th guy had started against Oregon and Tennessee and played ~45% of the snaps in the national title game. I'm not claiming that any of them started at tackle. FWIW Donovan Jackson himself didn't play tackle last year until Simmons went down in Eugene, at which point he switched over and made himself into a first round draft pick.
  14. Is really good to hear Littletons name. He’s been balling since spring, just wish someone had took control of the opposite corner spot from Manny . I hope Gilbeaux proves me wrong
  15. I think I understand where the disconnect is. I'll take a shot - Comparing Simms to Applewhite, in comparison with their relative star ratings, shows that Applewhite was underrated and not that Simms was overrated. The fact that Simms and Applewhite were evenly matched on the same team shows that Applewhite was much better than a 3-star rating and should have been rated as a blue chip. Instead of comparing Simms to Applewhite, Sydney is saying you need to compare Simms to a guy who was correctly rated as a 3-star.
  16. Keegan Bradley will be on with the Ticket in Dallas around 5:50 PM tonight (Wednesday)
  17. Stringer

    Spoon

Have you asked them to come play on your stage? The worst they can do is say “no”
  18. Yeah, I'm sure that swagger will outduel our hunger and desire for revenge. Or OT.
