  1. Past hour
  2. Hahaha “but convenient too” (damn autocorrect) because of diversity essay topics still in play and they don’t require test scores - the worst aspect of his college resume.
  3. I do get where the texags are coming from. Has a 5 star RB ever had such an unproductive high school statline? But even with that, his size and 10.7 speed are no damn joke. He could be elite even if he is possibly overrated

  5. And ... ahead of the farmers.. which is the chef's kiss
  6. Wife's been pushing me to think about my next birthday trip. We are definitely planners who normally have our lives booked out about 18 months ahead, but still. Birthday is not 'til February for fucksake, and I don't really consider 55 to be a "milestone birthday", but she's excited about it, so...whatever. Had some flight vouchers expiring soon and no other unpurchased airfare on the horizon, so we pulled the trigger on a return to NOLA. It has been 2 years, and we normally go a few times a year, so...long overdue. Quick flight in First Class, gotta call our private driver to make sure he's still in business, booked a Club Level room at the Ritz. Blowjobs-and-Po-Boys-and-Jazz, oh my! Life ain't too bad, after all...!
  7. Except that immediately after that reference, the song on the soundtrack is Kashmir . . . which isn't on that album. A mistake that has always annoyed me . . .
  8. Of course. But we were talking about the campus corner of mlk and guad on the south side of mlk.

    Getting old sucks

My friend has whittled down the broken brain pills to the level he’s comfortable right now. He would need a prescription regardless of GoodRx or not….. or maybe I’m what you’re saying. And like I said, it’s not that it completely doesn’t work. Actually getting off SSRI’s and onto other classes has helped some, but now that he’s back to the same amount of ‘want’ it almost makes the problem worse? If your shit doesn’t work but you don’t care to partake, then what are you really losing out on? I mean he is stuck between rock and a not so hard place. Maybe not at first, but when it’s the same ole vanilla maritals it can be difficult. Date night after the ole lady has wine and a gummie and he can catch her at maybe her second glass before she goes fully to sleepy, he’s got a shot at a shot. But it’s definitely on his mind to make sure to hurry up because if it’s one thing his wife doesn’t want is a marathon. He pretty much gets my one chance and then it’s sleepy time within her reaching her goal. He’s on borrowed time after that and the Oscar music starts playing him off. So if his speech doesn’t wrap up or the mic stand doesn’t hold then he just gets shuttled off stage. My friend is probably an over-sharer….
  10. Theo Huxtable - accidental drowning. 54 https://www.tmz.com/2025/07/21/malcolm-jamal-warner-dead-cosby-show/
  11. You are 100% correct. If you'd like a comparative timeline, there's one available from Germany in the 1930s. And if you compare it by event, we're actually running ahead of schedule on several milestones.
  12. I really wish he would have worked in that his kid got honorable mention All-District last year.
  13. aggy has invented the "according to a totally unbiased football dad" ranking system
  14. Seems like we might have a Kruel Summer on our hands
  15. I assume we are progressing along scheduled timelines towards just rounding them up for the firing squads.
  16. This is obviously Icono.
  17. "Unreliable eyewitness accounts" = four different people who don't know each other stating that they saw her in different places at different times after the boat docked. And at least one of those witnesses saw the tasmanian devil tattoo she had. I'm not sure I agree with you a hundred percent on your police work, there, Lou. Look, I don't know what happened to her, and it's impossible to state definitively what happened to her just from watching that Netflix documentary. My only point is that your "zero evidence" comment simply isn't correct. There is, in fact, substantial evidence that she didn't fall overboard (either assisted or not). The problem is that evidence isn't conclusive. But, then again, neither is the evidence relating to the "she went overboard" theory. (No body ever washed up, all kinds of evidence that she wasn't suicidal, etc.)
  18. So this post seemed really cool in your head, huh?
  19. Oh, it’s a super lazy take. good info to know.
  20. Ditto. Maybe it will watch better as a binge, because it did not work as a weekly release.
  21. Barely a couple of hours after this ... ... this happened. 👀 👀 👀 What do you do when life takes away Lamons?
  22. I see we're pretty much to the point where the main Israel-defender line is not to deny that any of these attacks on civilians or aid stations are happening, but solely to launch ad hominem attacks against some people reporting those attacks as "anti-semitic" (while ignoring the fact that numerous mainstream sources are reporting the same events). If any other nation was committing these acts -- say, Russia was doing it -- the criticism would be pretty universal (except for the Russia apologist crowd). But when Israel does it, any and all criticism and calls for consequences are dismissed because "anti-semitism." It's just fucking tired.
