All in all, I guess I’ll take a 16-14 record through April. If I could change one thing (other than having Arrighetti sit his ass on the bench instead of picking flowers in the OF during BP) it’d be to flip at least of the games in Seattle when we were Espada’d bringing in Taylor Scott who promptly blew game 1. And then the complete bullpen implosion in game 3 up 5-0 through top of the 8th only to lose 7-6.

Tracking Trump Administration and Cabinet picks

Shit like that pisses me off more than you can imagine. Because you know what "belongs to the President?" FUCKING NOTHING. NOT A GODDAMNED THING. That information belongs to the people, and the Republic. He works for us. That shit pissed me off when Nancy Pelosi said shit like that (about her title and power and shit), I am 100% bipartisan on this. Rubio and Trump work for ME. They are my bitch. On the org chart of this Republic, they are at the fucking bottom, under "We the People." I fucking hate them. I hate them all so, so much. -
Man, what could've been. I say he's still a HOFer.

I think you have it pretty straight as far as I can tell.

Yes, I'm sure Phelan's intentions for the bill will be completely honored by Abbott, Paxton, and Patrick once it's on the books. The only way to stop shit like that is to put a stop to the unlimited dirty money flowing into politician's campaign coffers. I'm going to hold my breath waiting for that to happen

I think y'all are talking about different guys. @Macanudo, I think, is talking about the Slough House agent who got done in by the Russians on his bicycle. He was dating the black female agent. Roddy, the Asian techo-nerd who thinks all the ladies fancy him, is supposedly playing a bigger role in Season 5. Or so I've read. EDIT: @Stringer, are you talking about the guy who just came on the scene in the last season? I'd kind of forgotten about him.

Beats the hell outta me. I'm going to guess that there aren't any recent studies because . . . follow me here . . . it has already been determined, without the need for a particular "study," that it is not feasible. There's likely no "study" of that for the same reason that there's no study of how to get from here to Hawaii on horseback. But if you want some samples of "studies" of large-scale transfer projects, sure. https://dallascityhall.com/departments/waterutilities/Documents/DWU LRWSP 2024_with Appendices.pdf Go to section 7, discussing the Integrated Pipeline Project to bring water to Dallas from relatively nearby Lake Palestine. Or you can go here, where it contemplates a long-range project to bring water all the way from Toledo Bend to Dallas: https://dallascityhall.com/departments/waterutilities/DCH Documents/2014_LRWSP_Final_Report_all_11302015.pdf Here's a snippet, showing the estimated cost of that project at $2.3 billion...in 2015 (in the ten years since, that cost has likely doubled or more): Again, that's a 2015 number. Assume it has only gone up around 50%, so it's now $1,500 per acre foot. By way of comparison, there was great hue and cry when LCRA recently raised its contract price for water from Lake Travis from . . . $155 to $165. An East Texas-to-Dallas water supply would cost TEN TIMES that (again, that's being very conservative). There is a reason there aren't crews out there digging to lay a pipeline that will deliver water that costs 10X or more what other sources cost.

Yep- you nailed it. Frustrating game to lose when we leave a village on the base paths and they get 5 unearned runs, 4 of them on a crawford box wall scraper that was coming straight down. Oh well, good series win against a pretty good team without any of our big boys pitching. Go sweep the White sox for a 5-1 week and we will probably be in 1st. Quasi successful big league debut for Blubaugh- he wasn't in over his head even if things didn't completely go his way on the scoreboard. Now, we get to watch LMJ throw his first pitch in 30 months against a AAAA team in Chicago.

I don't know why I thought this, but at the time I presumed that maybe Burton loaned him the money and it wasn't that much. I don't think IT has a lot of value to transfer to a third party absent the ongoing commitment of the various reporters to continue generating content. Burton would have done it as an investment in On3 and for the platform for his Youtube career.

Who cares? it is never going to rain again and Central Texas will look like Dust Bowl oklahoma except Teslas and mini mansions instead of shacks and trailers.

Yes, it’s a manipulation. The objective is to make your best effort to get the most 8 deserving to Omaha. -
Do I have OUs NIL strategy correct? - splurge on a handful of key impact positions (e.g., QB), portal or highschool - most of NIL goes to highschool recruiting, which should be cheaper than portal recruiting or roster retention. - hope they can be competitive in NIL to keep some of their current from portalling - deep value investing (e.g., FCS) in the portal to fill voids because they don't have money left after the 3 items above

You should realize you have this completely backwards. While Phelan is a Republican, he is the former Speaker of the House who Patrick and Paxton tried to get primaried. Phelan led the effort to impeach Ken Paxton, something he actually got the majority of Republicans in the house to support. Read the bill. This is related to the mountains of misleading campaign materials aimed at Phelan in the primary; much of which was funded by the $3 million Defend Texas Liberty PAC (largely funded by Tim Dunn) gave Dan Patrick ahead of the impeachment trial in the senate.

The process is pretty bastardized. The RPI is a poor representation. The ACC as the #2 conference is closer in rating to the Big 12 at #3 than the Big 12 is to the Big 10 at #4. In checking it out today, UCF is 56th in the RPI. They are ahead of 5 teams in the Big 12 ahead of them in conference standings. They are bunched up however. Three of those teams are 3-4 games ahead in conference. Houston is 44 spots lower in the RPI but 1 game up. UCF and BYU are tied for 12th of 14 in the Big 12. They are 5-1 versus Stetson, #72 in the RPI. WVU and UCF are a good representation of the RPI east coast circle jerk. if you are 4/5 games under .500 in conference, you deserve to sit at home. You probably won’t notice it in the RPI, but it’s possible you may get a Mizzou or some other team that’s tanking it in conference to even get to that point. It’s basically been 20 years of the ACC/SEC squeezing invites/hosts/seeding. That’s likely part of the reason FSU has so many CWS appearances and no titles. Significant favorable matchups until the CWS then wilt against talented teams. FSU will never leave the state of Florida except for a few conference series, perhaps get some bottom feeder SEC team as a 2, Stetson as a 3 and SWAC team. They’ll then advance to match up with a “hot” Kentucky in a Super. A Kentucky that beat Miami that couldn’t handle Stetson in their regular season matchup. There you go. You’ve got a rep in the CWS. Pull that shit for 20 years, add pay for play, and you get the balance you’ve got today. Surprise. -

Apparently, the new was no self defense instruction allowed for the negligent homicide charge, which is the likely explanation for that guilty verdict, with NG on the other two options.
