  1. Past hour
  2. That's for a massive house on 20 acres in an expensive gated neighborhood. A shithole in Aspen costs $10 million. Plenty of listings for a million or under in Whitefish. You can find stuff nearby for even cheaper.
  3. American flies direct from DFW to BIL already, I know that. and during the summer months, delta flies to cody (and kalispell as you likely know) from SLC if the smaller airport would be better for connecting.
  4. Looks like my fishing line when I cast into the wind.
  5. Crochett K's 10. Yeah, it was the Athletics, but still impressive.
  6. I really hate connecting flights into small airports. If for some reason a connection is screwed up in Denver, you may not get another flight to Cody for the day. I cannot tell you how many times I have missed connections in Denver -- more than any other airport. In the winter when I go to Whitefish, I take a direct flight to Missoula instead. It is a two hour drive. But no connection in Denver. Because if you miss the Denver connection to Kalispell, you're f'ed. More and more Texans are moving to the Flathead Valley. Before long, they will have direct flights in the winter. From Dallas at least.
  7. Seems like UUUU should be more valuable now. +.74 to $12.64
  8. That’s always been ok at aggy
  9. My man just likes a grilled cheese every now and then. Is that so wrong?
  10. Yeah, did not work out that well.
  11. we've done euro camps several times this century as part of international windows and a pair of friendlies on euro soil no mls players traveled as far as i can recall
  12. HEB said I just needed to answer yes to any of the qualifications for getting the covid shot.
  13. Ha, folks mention they want a nice little summer hideaway and then the talk turns to "reasonably" priced digs at $3.5 million. Never change surly 1%!
  14. I hate people that purposely inconvenience others.
  15. OTF suggests the shit performance was in part the tiny, quicker DL, the different movement up front. Mentioned was kind of a less talented ASU.
  16. Just saw the short post-game interview where Arch said he wasn't very good and called his performance sloppy twice. With all the spotlight and criticism, he's not acting defensive. That's a GREAT sign IMO. He's feeling the pressure, but he's not running away from it. Just need to things to click. It's coming.
  17. read the stuff i posted poch said he is going to try out mls players because these are not full internationals because we are already qualified in other words he is using logical rationale that makes sense in the rest of the world but does not understand how it plays here
  18. Based on quality wins, South Florida should be ranked number 1. Especially, if they win again this weekend.
  19. We had come a long way since then.
  20. A euro camp sounds awesome. let the mls keep the pain of international travel
  21. I remember when most of this shit (not all, but most), came from beret-wearing self-important dipshits from the far left (again, I remember the shanty on the West Mall). And, we (rightly in my mind) heard pushback from this about political correctness run amok, "cancel culture" (the more recent iteration of that phenomenon got this name), etc. People who "championed ideas" and said that "freedom of thought" and "liberty" (lotta "libertarians" spoke up) had a lot to say. Turns out....those people were mostly full of shit. Because now that the same approaches and tactics are being used, predictably, with much historical precedent and with much success, by the other end of the political spectrum....crickets chirping. And none of those "academic freedom" and "marketplace of ideas" types are doing jack shit to defend the values they told us were so damned important to them. Turns out, almost all the folks who got pissed off at leftists practicing cancel culture were just mad that they weren't able to do it too. Now they are, with real results, and turns out, they like cancel culture very, very, very much. It's even better when it has the full weight of the government behind it as well. Cancel culture by hippies and shit with little power? That's bad. Cancel culture with the stamp of government approval? That's AWESOME, and we should have more of it. Any of us who actually believe in liberty and a diverse marketplace of ideas? We can get fucked.
  22. I don't disagree with any of this, but my issue is that Arch has had vanishingly few GOOD throws so far through two games. It's a much more likely outcome that he sails it or throws it down a rope under the recievers feet. He needs to settle down and stop being a headcase, because he's got the time to improve. I (and many others) would feel much better if he were even making a quarter of those throws. Even his long TD that pads his passing numbers was underthrown significantly - the reciever doubling back to catch it out of stride tripped the secondary, but that isn't gonna happen against a competent defense in the SEC. My main worry is that he's going to continue to have massive variance in his play, and our opponents will capitalize on that and we end up with middling record. Talking like "yeah but if we just made this ONE PASS...." takes me back to 2010-16 and that era of Texas football of endless close losses, but for one busted pass or play.
  23. Where is the evidence that this generation is more intolerant compared to prior generations? When I was in high school, if you came out as gay, you were ostracized. We’ve come a long, long way since then.
