assuming he isn’t draft eligible, i’d love to get ahmad hardy from mizzou.

My sense of it as well. Need to shore up the OL. WR and RB dysfunction I think mostly a product of OL. But we could stand a bigger RB with Baxter seeming to flop. Maybe a WR. Probably a TE. Time in program plus youngsters might take care of that. Sarkco just needs to have an "opposite day" this off-season. Whatever he did in Spring 2025, do the opposite thing.

You do know it’s all those things and people have said all the things on this thread that you said they didn’t? Of course you don’t.

There is a LOT of room in being just behind Mcconahay. I'll allow it.

is that yell called the futureman?

We don't need DB's. We need a DB coach who knows what the fuck he's doing.

It’s just the usual internet nerds reaching for straws as to why things didn’t go the way the pre-season hype predicted. It’s never “we didn’t recruit well enough or manage the portal well enough”, or “we didn’t develop our players enough” or “maybe our coach isn’t a genius”. Half this board sounds like Clayton Williams talking about Ann Richards: “I hope she didn’t go back to drinking again”

I wouldn’t complain if SEC refs finally started throwing calls our way.

There’s a reason the engineering group in Dilbert made fun of the marketing group.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

Without fOSU we would have stayed at 1 until UF and though that would have dropped us out of the top 10, it would not have dropped out of the rankings. and the refs probably got different instructions for the vandy game. UGA game would have been a top 6 matchup and we are probably around 8-9 right now above all the teams we beat and a chance to move up as high as 5-6 by beating Aggies -
Targeting has been a "point of emphasis" to improve player safety since its inception. Without the benefit of replay, TXHSFB officials are usually less prone to calling it unless it's blatantly obvious headhunting. We wanted to see "malicious intent" before throwing a flag. At the D1 college level, officials are actually encouraged to call it more often.

Everyone remember when Texas A&M joined the SEC, their whole identity was SEC, SEC,SEC. Well,…..the bill has come due. A loss next week will not hurt their chances at the CFP. Time for them to step up for the good of the conference. A Texas blowout win will put both teams safely in. -

we don't need to, this was discussed at length 2 years ago by bama when they got in over FSU and its been discussed this year at length already they are probably hoping we drop to a&m , or tennessee beats vandy or any handful of other small outcomes that makes this a non issue. they can tweak around the results one final time, and beating #3 gives them a lot of options there's a ton of ADs in the committee who are not unaware of what leaving us out with our schedule will do hopefully we force them to make a decision , because it definitely will cause ramifications one way or another -
Ron Prince was a good coach [/Mack Brown, probably]

Ok. You’re right. They spotted the ball favorably for us for a change. I’ll take it.

There reallly needs to be some clarification and education with Refs at all levels to what is targeting that could result in an injury and what is not. I mean it’s not hard to find film clips of the showboat hits that kicked this rule into effect and compare them to what is being called in some of the games currently. What was intended to be an obvious penalty is now become as subjective as some of the other penalties we as fans and I’m sure coaches complain about. What is targeting in the SEC might not be the same in the Rig 12. Or for that matter from crew to crew.

Won't go wrong with Old Forester 86, imo

I’ll take a wild guess that his completion percentage would be higher, he’d have more yards and touchdowns and fewer interceptions?
