Texas Football 2025 Fall Camp - Kicking the Sonofabitch In
Vito Andolini replied to closetojumping's topic in Football
Really looking forward to watching Endries do his thing, Uncle Peyton can forward some Dallas Clark vids to Arch for reference. (And just to add to the stupid shit on the board, Jack has one of those faces that if you doubled the right side of his face [I guess that’d be “mirrored”) and did the same with the left, he’d look like two different people.) -
This is good. I specifically came here for the Sidney Sweeney memes because it has creates a lot of ridiculous internet content on both sides. But just one funny meme and no thread. Alas, too much serious pain in the world to focus on innocuous funny.

Hell yeah. Just kidding. I probably shouldn't have used a sexist angle. It's just the stupid hot takes, from random pundits, these days. Like that idiot Doering. Ok, yes, Arch is probably overhyped, but to claim that some scrub transfer from Wash St. is going to win the Heisman is just stupid. Even if he's actually good, the offensive personnel around him isn't. It's a take that nobody will remember when OU goes 5-7 and Mateer gets sacked 7 times a game. Some of these folks are no better or informed than the average texags poster. /early Friday drinking takes -

I happily support PBS with a small monthly donation. I regularly watch many shows and have since I was old enough to watch TV. My understanding is that PBS only gets about 15% of its funding from CPB. The quality of PBS shows could easily generate enough revenue to make up the difference. I didn't support the current president, I stay out of CR, and I'm not a fascist nut job. I am okay, though, with PBS finding private ways of supporting its programming which it already does in large part. -

No, I threw his drunk ass over my shoulder and got him away from there, although looking back at things he pulled later on I should have let him do it.

How is any of that Racist? You said it. Justify it. Why is saying The GHM is run by Hamas, racist? If it's so obvious, explain it. Explain, specifically, how what I said was racist. Oh, there are definitely morons shitting in this thread, it's just not who you think it is.

Jerry won' trade him until they have no choice. Parson's has a lot of mood swings and says a lot of shit. The feeling may not last, or maybe it was a bargaining tool to hasten serious negotiations. Either way, Jerry will go into the season levying fines or whatever until it's a lost cause before giving up on this one. Ain't no trade going to compensate for his value, especially if it is on picks they will fuck up. Can't blame Parsons for the frustration, but this has been the way Jerry go. Jerry might have screwed the pooch on this one. You don't fuck around with HOF talent in mid career to this extent. But I have a feeling there will be a deal, hopefully sooner than later.

The show "Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman" was fantastic for our kids. Very watchable for kids and parents. Each show focused on some topic that was good to learn about in a game show format. -

My God. I'm all for equality and all, but can we nip (pun intended) a few of the women off ESPN? Someone by the name of Candy Maldonado (may have gotten the first name wrong) has an article about teams making or not making the playoffs. Of course, Texas is the team that she'd bet on to not make the playoffs. Fine. Cool. I have a couple of worries as well. Namely that Texas could lose at OSU and at GA, and only have room for one more loss to make the playoffs. But, she states that the Texas v aggy game is a coin flip. Fuck's sake. -

I can't tell if this thread has drawn in a weak troll or if there is a new candidate for dumbest motherfucker on this site. It could go either way. I assume some of you are more familiar with his posting habits and already know. I want to believe no one is this stupid, but then I remember that 22% of Americans voted for what is happening now. (and yes, it's sad as fuck that only 22% amounts to some kind of mandate for complete fuckery) -
Lol I feel seen. I've been playing okay since picking up the clubs again a few months ago. Really striking the ball well, but losing a lot of strokes to missed GIRs and bad chipping mistakes. Overall though, it's been encouraging. Walked on at Lions Sunday morning at 0730 and proceeded to card five 7s in row. Somewhere along the way, I started spraying wedges just blade open wide right. On 5, I wound up right of the trees, tried to play a mostly conservative pitch out to the fairway, hit a tree and wound up twenty yards backwards. Next shot, hit another tree. Third shot, beautiful punch out to 90 yards... I chalk it up to getting paired with this older dude who had just enough Dad energy to put the thought of my old man in my head, and I always played terribly around him. Golf. Surly Golf (TM)
