I mean- maybe? Maybe not. Maybe go fuck yourself gif. They should have been beat by Auburn and Florida but for some ref fuckery. They got beat by Bama about like we got beat by Ohio State. Last year we outplayed them big time in the SEC title game. We had more guys get drafted last year. Our ratings in recruiting and portal are pretty much the same. If they are better than us (or the other way around) it’s marginal and not the reason they beat us was the point I was making. The coaching, home field, luck or refs would probably be more likely to be the cause of a loss for us than “they are better than us”.

Can we get back to the Assram discussion?

OSU has a resume comparable to your school, just with more cache. One legit win and a whole bunch of bread. But unlike Texas, for example, OSU and A&M have generally showed up and flexed muscle against their bread.
-
And this is why I keep saying our OL last year, as talented as it might have been, wasn't championship caliber. It wilted against UGa (x2) and tOSU, particularly in the run game. That may have been partially the RB's fault, but only partially.

TreVeyon busts one to start the 3rd.

So I'd have to watch all our plays twice, likely cutting the useful life of my liver in half?

Texas Recruiting Notes 2026: Boulevard of Broken Bagmen
William Bludworth replied to texifornia's topic in 🤫$9.95🤫
Definitely. A contingency plan for Goosby, Hutson is gone, Campbell is gone, not sure if Cruz will ever play, but I also don't know his learning curve. Robertson seems, from his PFF grade to adequate, but we need a maulers. But even then, we don't know Chatman's return time line, so I think the staff should go for every position on the lo e, regardless. The tough thing about the OL and the portal, is no matter how talented they are, getting them to gel is the hardest part. Even one guy can murder the line (see Stroh). -
stanford education with the low football IQ play there

We ran the ball for a total of 60 yards over 2 games against Georgia last year, and that inability to grind out yards and control some of the game ultimately did us in. We can't effectively run the ball at all against anybody with a pulse this year, sans a decent effort against OU (where we still averaged less than 4 yards a tote) So no, I won't count on us beating Georgia unless that somehow miraculously changes.

Texas Basketball Recruiting Notes: It's Miller Time

If we're not going to have even competitive offers, then I'm not sure why we're spending so much time recruiting these 5-stars. I guess Goosby is an exception because of the family connection, but 99% of the time entering these recruitments without being willing to spend big is just wasting time. -
How would 10-2 Oregon be compelling? They would have played 3 good teams and lost to 2 of them.

Who got banned recently to come back as @Vato Macho? Pretty impressive to be here a week & already know Helo's food recs history.
-
True. But this group has the Steel Shank thread and Vic Mackey’s Friends Food thread. Preaching to the choir so to speak.

Communism just means in increase taxes on the rich by 2%. I am ready to join the vanguard of this radical extreme revolution comrade if common sense conservatism means letting Elon Musk loot 1 trillion dollars from our economy.

I'm having a hard time believing that Ukraine had all of that production for that system in these regions, given their locations. I also don't understand why Russia threw so many missiles at so many civilian buildings in Ukraine versus trying to destroy all of their missile stuff. Still, seems like drones are doing the heavy lifting on the deep strikes in Russia these days.

Either or both SC and Oregon at 10-2 will absolutely be in the playoffs. It seems unlikely that they both will finish 10-2. Lot of loseable games on the schedule for each team and the only way they could both be 10-2 is if USC wins at Oregon which won’t be how the game is favored to go.

Holy shit you dipshits: 9-3 Texas is probably in the playoffs

You guys have a lot of time on your hands. -
We get Caserio and Ballard is making shit happen in Indy.

Ackshually, they probably are. They've been stacking talent wood longer than we have, and possibly/probably more intelligently. By most accounts, their DL is down from last year. But within the expected delta of a team of its stature. We've gone wildly outside the expected delta with subpar OL recruiting/development. And they are positioned to make us pay. That's before you get to coaching, and offensive skill position talent, which are either too subjective or intertwined with OL performance, or both. That's not to say we can't or won't win, but I think UGa is, overall, a better team than we are.
