  1. Past hour
  2. I liked the first one. It probably suffered being released during covid. Definitely in for this one.
  3. 43 DAYS... JETT BUSH 🤘
  4. Fantastic post and illustrations of the different levels of inundation risk. That's not the point, see this response: Floodway vs. flood plain is really important. And FEMA isn't just pulling this stuff out of its ass. These days, the data is pretty well updated, and they use the HEC-RAS modeling software to show inundation in specific types of events. I've watched animations of it simulating actual floods that occurred, and it is pretty close to spot-on. It's pretty impressive. Bottom line, today, if FEMA mapping shows you are in the floodway....you probably shouldn't be there.
  5. These interactions that Chris Martin has with fans appears to always be filmed by concert goers and posted on Tiktok/Instagram/Youtube. A couple of weeks ago I saw the videos where the camera in El Paso was turned on the fans watching from a hill next to the Sun Bowl. Martin sung a quick, funny song how they watched the show for free. My guess is that someone (or many) posted it online whether anyone knew this couple who looked very guilty. Tiktok must have an algorithm that will quickly start to spread an increasing popular video, especially for a city. And it's the type of video that you would watch 2-5 times before swiping to the next.
  6. absolutely true and in the case of mystic, it's true because the bubble inn was appealed out of the floodway and the floodplain to make the map fit the insurance, not fit the geology also, this was not a 500-year event it wasn't a 100-year event this same level of flooding is a 10-15 year event - did you not see the wsj recap on past floods? 1931, 1953, iirc 7 total in the past 100 years
  7. Cameron Townsend #43
  8. Forecast doesn’t look that bad.
  9. About Trump's health... Older folks go through three phases of decline. They have the "go-go" years, when most have stopped working and are physically fine and they can vacation where and when they want to. They transition to the "slow-go" years, where they have some medical or cognitive issues, but they can still travel near their home, meet with friends, and enjoy being social. And eventually they end up in the "no-go" years, where they mostly go to medical appointments and stay at home. We saw Biden move from "go-go" to "slow-go". Trump is now going through that transition, although he probably doesn't accept that he's in physical decline. Biden and Reagan had a staff and a family to lean on. Trump does not have that. He's an old man with one of the most stressful jobs on the planet, and he's mostly alone. HIs health is going to decline, first with small things like what we are seeing now, but years 3-4 are going to be rough.
  10. dude the entire internet is meme'ing this guy into the ground. This isn't going to be some divorce case. yes we'll forget and move on in the next week or so but its still etched into our memories for eternity. If i brought this up to you 10 years from now "remember that affair caught at the Coldplay concert"..youd likely remember it...this guy has to deal with it probably every day from here on out especially if hes outted at his company and has to try landing on his feet somewhere. You dont think his new work environment is going to always think of him as the slimy affair guy at the colplay concert?
  11. and malcolm roach gets a lot of snaps as well.
  12. It's a shame that the discourse seems to be focused on whether or not he specifically wrote the letter, and not that this is yet another significant data point detailing the closeness (and lewdness) of his relationship with Epstein. Even if he didn't personally write it, he was viewed as a close enough friend of Epstein to be asked to contribute to this present, and he (at the very least) allowed this to be sent on his behalf.
  13. Just remember, when it comes to defending yourself against bullying cowards, you don't need an army. Just punch one bullying coward in the nose, and they back down, because right below the surface, they are gutless coward pussies.
  14. so that photo of her has gotta be from what, 20 years ago?
  15. This is one of the first that I was aware was sampling. I'm an old but this really caught my ear.
  16. His life is hardly ruined. He either works it out with the wife or not, that's hardly a ruined life. Divorces happen all the time; he's a CEO (not his first gig either), plenty of cash, he'll land somewhere on his feet and he'll either be married or not and have a lot less in tbe bank account, but its not like divorce/cheating is life ending.
  17. I imagine that MAGA influencers are being told that the release of the grand jury testimony is more than enough because that is where the crimes were discussed by witnesses. And that release of any other investigation info would be unethical and unprecedented. Or that it would potentially identify victims and innocent people on the periphery.
  18. You're probably right, but federal funding varies quite a bit from station to station. The table below is from the same article I posted above. In Texas, NPR gets about 8% of its funding from the feds, and PBS gets about 20%. Many of the more rural/isolated states seem highly dependent on that funding. Of course, those areas also tend to be more Republican, so they may not miss having public TV/radio. At the same time, they likely don't have great access to commercial offerings either, which was kind of the point of having funding for public access. Still, you're correct about internet access -- though many rural/isolated areas have challenges there, too.
  19. It makes perfect sense. The WSJ caters to people with money who can read. Fox is for the rubes.
  20. Maybe in the grand scheme "either theyre having an affair or theyre really shy" wasnt the right line to use by Martin...Ive never seen a Coldplay show so does he take time in between sets to talk to random fans on the jumbotron in the crowd? Most shy people laugh, and cover their faces with their hands especially if theyre together. 99% of the stadium can see its an affair when the faces go from smiling to the guy literally ducking out and she turns her back while her friend laughs at "oh shit we done fucked up but at least it wasn't me" look on her face. Since its an affair, go ahead and meme away is what I say. This guys bad luck is that in the era of camera phones, his personal life is now forever wrecked. He could've easily gotten away with this back in the 80s and 90s. probably 00's as most people in the 00s didnt walk around recording everything either
  21. And they drafted Jahdae Barron in the 1st Round. Broncos defense should be must see tv.
  22. 2nd half mofos. Put in your predictions, bitch about the offense some more, or just admire how Josh Smith can play every damn infield position. He'll probably be behind the plate at some point. I'm optimistic. We make the Wild Card .And then we know we have playoff starters, and probably enough good bullpen arms for a hopefully short couple of series. ALCS minimum. Fuck it.
  23. gotcha. still don't like it.
  24. With rough weather coming in for afternoon groups, guess the cut line moves into +2 area???
