  1. Past hour
  2. btw what the fuck is this?
  3. I think this is likely I completely disagree. Both were well underway and visible in the data, but the Democratic Party wasn’t paying attention to the data and instead was busy huffing out-of-state consultant bullshit about “The Hispanic Vote” and “centering marginalized communities,” but not the marginalized communities that actually power the Democratic voting coalition in the state of Texas.
  4. hahaha. Netflix SEC any given saturday documentary. guy on guy action on pornhub would be much more satisfying, trust me. this documentary is soft core for the self loathing closeted mouthbreathers. i sweatergod I hate this conference.
  5. Was pretty solid
  6. chili is serious bidness. Some things transcend the moment.
  7. From CBSSports.com article on 10 rookies to watch: Nic Scourton CAR • LB • #11 Drafted: Round 2 (51st overall) Fun fact: Career statistics include 109 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 17.0 sacks and three forced fumbles in three seasons (two at Purdue and one at Texas A&M) ....Scourton was once regarded as a likely first-round prospect, but a transfer from Purdue to Texas A&M led to a new body type and a new role -- neither of which benefitted his stock. If he is able to tap back into his time with the Boilermakers, Scourton has the potential to become an X-factor. Aggie player development continues to be a strength of the program...
  8. The negatives for Houston are known: climate, traffic, lack of any great aesthetic plus. The positives are often underrated, though: the diversity (long-standing, not just recent - remember, it's a port city); the food (see first point); the hustle (the culture of Houston is that it doesn't give a shit about much of anything, other than whether you've got hustle and want to make some money). It's a city of opportunity. An unattractive, hot, humid city of opportunity. And tasty grub.
  9. Yeah, we are a (relatively) small real estate development and management company, but ANY social media/media/linkedin post referencing the company or any of our projects HAS to go through our legal before being posted. Because, you know, you don't want us to look bad. But again, racism is cool to these folks.
  10. Did this guy also make you stop to use the bathroom for 15-20 minutes at every truck stop on road trips?
  11. I can't tell if it is the angle of that headshot, but it legitimately looks like he has a full set of man boobs at age 20.
  12. I came away with a different interpretation of that post….mostly that Michael Terry is about to have the best freshman season of any receiver in Texas history as well as being named team captain.
  13. I preferred the inside without the garish gold leaf nad trim everywhere.
  14. Okay, come on. Context matters here. Baylor was an absolute backwater program by the time Briles got the job. They were the bottom of the college football barrel. A complete shithole program. That is not where Tech was when McGuire got the job. Not even close. McGuire inherited a fucking bowl team. Briles took over a program that hadn't had a winning record in 12 seasons. Baylor went 3-9 the year before with wins over juggernauts Rice, Texas State, and Buffalo. They went 0-8 in the Big 12 and lost in those games to finish the season by a combined score of 352-108. Thanks for forcing me to somehow sound supportive of or sympathetic to Art Briles.
  15. As a friend put it to me once...comicon nerds can still be hot you have no clue with someone in an animal suit.
  16. The fact that they haven’t just released the portions that have nothing to do with Trump makes me wonder if that even exists. Like if they did that there would be nothing to release.
  17. Looks like Taco is back on the menu boys!
  18. Ideally Nagy will blame all their problems on Venables and eventually get him fired in a season or 2. Then after another couple years of mediocrity, it will be his turn to get fired. Then OU will be at rock bottom and won't have enough money to recover.
  19. Have you considered the possibility that you might be an America-hating wussy communist, whose weakness is harming our cultural strength and purity? Or....maybe we're all just getting older, and can't handle all the shit that never even used to phase us. Goddammit.
  20. Cry? No....but 17 year old me was wanting to shoot Brian Polydixon as he scored like 10 touchdowns against us in 1997.....
  21. Appears that the federal govt has interns from 4chan in charge of their social media channels. Personally I would be embarrassed if my employer's posts had this vibe. Then again maybe that part of the goal, to embarrass professionals in govt to get them to quit. It's only a matter of time before one of them drop the n-word in a post. It will be described a regrettable error but zero apologies will be given.
  22. The Llama family afopted KOTH from the beginning. Later on when it started running in syndication or whatever and aired nightly at 10:30, we would always wstch it before turning in. I usually fell off to sleep before it ended, which helps reruns seem fresh. Maybe it’s my dementia kicking in. We have great reverence for Mike Judge and all who contributed to the once and present KOTH, to “Beaver and Buffcoat,” to Idiocracy and all other Judge whatnot and productions. I’m quite sure adults now aged 50-75 who were raised in the South knew individuals who resembled in many respects Hank, Mr. Thompson, LuAnn, Peggy, Bobby and the other cast members. Mr. Thompson: (gives his order) Butthead: . . . Uhhhhhhh Mr. Thompson: “Ah didn’t order ‘UHHH.”
