Nobody needs to ask that question. We know the answer. There are two groups of people in the new gilded age scenarios: Billionaires who make more billions, and literally everyone else getting completely fucked and seeing their income and quality of life go into the shitter. This economic approach puts families in the poor house and children in the coal mines. It's pure shit.

negs provide perspective and meaning to all the otherwise meaningless pos rep. they are necessary and, sadly, underutilized. I applaud this gentleman for doing his part.

It's a good thing Boise State decided to join the new Pac and not the American.
-
Yep. When you see even well meaning people start to stay stuff like "well, maybe the CDC overstepped in hindsight, but....", you know that propaganda works.
-
This is how Tech should look for home games. Yours is the only beveled logo I like, @Iceman. What's your opinion of the red helmets?
-
Also, someone needs to ask, "Who's we in this scenario? Do you mean the JP Morgans, the Cornelius Vanderbilts, the JD Rockefellers? How did the working man, woman and child fit into this? Are you trying to sell us some more trickle down'? Also probably worth pointing out that the Fed was created at least partially in response to the machinations of JP Morgan. By most accounts, I think he did right by the country, while self-enriching, but no single private person should wield that control over our economy.

It's a bit too early to throw in the towel on the Deboer era... but I thought the guy would be a slam dunk hire. College football is so odd that the guy who seems perfect for the job rarely turns out to be. Tom Herman was the hottest coach in the country when we hired him. Pete Carroll was like USC's fourth or fifth choice. Sark wasn't anybody's first choice here.

This. Plus we didnβt get pushed around in the trenches (4th and 1 not withstanding) like Alabama did. Thatβs a team with problems. Arch gotta get better though.

Appreciate all the tips. I was Olympic lifting pretty heavy with a trainer up until about six years ago and havenβt really done shit since. I lost 70 lbs over the last year and need to put the muscle back. I started this week and three sets of ten pushups wasnβt too bad, but I need more stuff, especially core and legs. Pickle ball season starts back up this week and Iβve already had one torn calf in the last year or two that sidelined me for a couple months. Donβt need that bullshit again.

The script helmets have proliferated across CFB and TXHSFB. I'm not a fan of them, especially if the school already has a well-known and attractive logo. Wazzu's was cutting-edge for its time and is timeless, IMO. Their old-school Cougars script looks better than the WAZZU helmet

This is a great question. I would say that the Clippers have been punished enough by God over the years that they should be allowed to get away with this, but I imagine the league could get creative and figure out a way to suspend Kawhi and give them a hard cap at the luxury tax line but with second apron penalties essentially handcuffing them from making just about any moves. They could also suspend Ballmer for multiple years and you know it would kill him not to be on the baseline acting like a jackass. Further, a large fine might amount to change that Ballmer found in his couch cushions, but it isn't necessarily small change to the other teams in the league if they get a distribution of it. You think the Jazz or Grizzlies or the Spurs wouldn't want to pocket a few million extra bucks off of this? Or the league could just ban them from playing in the Duke's Mayo bowl.

Saw Caught Stealing yesterday. That is a lot of movie and kind of a mess tonally, but it was ultimately a fun time and a bit of a throwback. I could see it being the perfect movie for a couple of drinks on a Friday night. It moves and is twisting and turning until the end.

Pretty hilarious that with all of the bitching and moaning that we are still in striking distance of the 1 seed with a good run. This illustrates a good proverb for life... focus on what is in front of you and not what is behind.

Hey now, you forget 3) The government was bought by the richest and policy was dictated by who had the most money

On the one hand, thrilled "Wazzu" is back as a name. The admin thinking it wasn't serious enough for Washington State as an institution was a joke. On the other... not the most attractive helmet

This movie will never get old, and the soundtrack is a total banger. There were other aspects of this movie that were bangers as well edit: And that ski ballet shit remains some of the coolest things ever and should have remained part of free-style skiing. I tried for years to pull off that pirouette move without a hint of success.

But let's use some common sense here. If the assumption is he entered the game injured (based on his terrible first throw to Moore on the rollout), then why would Sark not only call Arch running plays (including 2 inside the 10 and a QB sneak) but say postgame that he should have had run Arch more earlier in the game? People who haven't paid attention also questioned Arch's shoulder stretch/tic/whatever between plays, and it's been noted that he's been doing that since HS. The simplest explanation is he was mentally uncomfortable out there and it affected his mechanics. It's not ideal, but most likely correct. He did look better in the 4th quarter, which would support that theory.

Oregon definitely makes the most out of green & gold. But, the kids love their black unis too much to get rid of 'em. Uncle Phil takes care of his Ducks.
