  4. Profile pic doesn’t check out I got about 3.5 in today before I got too busy with work but some really good moments so far. The first scene with bill, Peggy/hank in bed when Bobby pocket dials, and the whole episode about getting more charcoal cracked me up. They’ve finally gotten rid of the ambiguity of where Arlen is located as well which is kinda funny to me. It makes a lot more sense with how east Texas a lot of the people actually are
  5. Chicken fajita kolache, a bowl of 3-bean vegan chili, and a vodka martini.
  6. Pavia jumped into him. They didn’t even hit helmets. It was big guy lil guy play that looked bad so of course they throw a flag. We played our c game and won on the road. I was more pissed off with that call because it forced us to play more snaps with a chance for injuries when the game was already in hand.

  8. 43 Killed During Horrific Church Massacre Islamic State-backed rebels killed at least 43 people during an attack on a Catholic church in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on July 27, 2025, according to multiple reports from civil society leaders and security sources. The assault occurred around 1 a.m. at a Catholic church in Komanda, located in Ituri province. Members of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) stormed the church premises during a nighttime vigil, targeting worshippers with guns and machetes before setting fire to surrounding houses and shops. Dieudonne Duranthabo, a civil society coordinator in Komanda, reported that searchers found the bodies of 38 people at the church scene, including 19 men, 15 women and nine children. “More than 21 people were shot dead inside and outside and we have recorded at least three charred bodies,” Duranthabo indicated to news agencies. The death toll varies among different sources, with local civil society leaders reporting between 34 and 43 fatalities. A United Nations-backed radio station cited security sources confirming 43 deaths, while the Congolese military acknowledged a lower count of 10 confirmed fatalities in the church attack. Lieutenant Jules Ngongo, spokesperson for the Democratic Republic of Congo Army in Ituri province, confirmed that armed men with machetes conducted an incursion into the church facility. Video footage from the scene showed burning structures and bodies on the church floor, with survivors identifying victims while others stood in shock. The attackers also struck the nearby village of Machongani earlier the same evening, killing at least five additional people before taking several residents into the bush. Lossa Dhekana, a civil society leader in Ituri, reported that the fate and number of those taken remain unknown. Security sources indicated the attackers originated from a stronghold approximately 7.5 miles from Komanda’s center and fled before security forces could respond to the alarm that sounded at 2 a.m. when smoke from burning houses became visible. The Allied Democratic Forces formed in Uganda during the late 1990s from disparate groups expressing discontent with President Yoweri Museveni’s government. Following military pressure from Ugandan forces in 2002, the organization relocated its operations to neighboring Congo. The group pledged allegiance to the Islamic Statein 2019 and has since been responsible for killing thousands of civilians in the borderland region between Uganda and Congo. The ADF operates with the stated goal of establishing an Islamist government in the East African region. This attack represents the latest in a series of deadly ADF assaults on civilian populations. Earlier in July 2025, the group killed 66 people in Ituri province in what a United Nations spokesperson characterized as a bloodbath. Duranthabo condemned the violence, noting that it occurred in a town where security officials maintain a presence. He called for immediate military intervention, warning that enemies remained near the community. Some residents began fleeing toward Bunia following the attack. The Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo has struggled to contain the ADF threat while simultaneously confronting renewed hostilities involving the Rwanda-backed M23 rebel movement. The complex security situation has created challenges for the overstretched Congolese military forces. Survivors at the scene prepared to bury victims in a mass grave within the Catholic church compound. The attack suspended all activities in Komanda as the community grappled with the aftermath of the violence. Eastern Congo has endured decades of conflict involving more than 100 armed groups, with roots tracing back to the 1994 Rwanda genocide. The mineral-rich Ituri province has been particularly affected by ongoing violence that has displaced approximately 7 million people across Congo’s population of 106 million. The United Nations peacekeeping mission MONUSCO warned that the church killings would exacerbate an already dire humanitarian situation in the province. Meanwhile, security forces including the Congolese Armed Forces, Ugandan military and local police launched search operations for the attackers. The Congolese government denounced the attack as horrific, while military officials described it as a large-scale massacre conducted in retaliation for recent security operations targeting ADF positions. 9. Broughton decided to decapitate Pavia for no reason at all to negate that pick-six. It was entirely self-inflicted on our part.
  10. Wtf. Take that shit to the recruiting board. Oh wait….
  11. Smothered chicken thighs
  12. They play us, and we play them. It's not our fault that they're shitty and we can't play ourselves.
  13. I seen that crowd your runnin with, Don't THINK I haven't noticed!
  14. I cramped up at lunch. At the table. For no apparent reason.
  15. No mercy for these fuckheads in Austin this year. Trey Owen’s gets 3 TDs in mop up duty
  16. Yeah Top 50 in points after 1st playoff tournament advance... Rory is skipping this first playoff tournament so only 69 players first weekend
  17. No doubt he's a great player, but you can also chalk up our offensive ineptitude on a lot of things. But I would have him top 3, no doubt. He'll be a top 8 pick when the draft comes. He can cover in space, but what I meant by saying he's not a game changer is just that he's not constantly trying to murder the QB coming off the edge, which makes the secondaries job much easier.
  18. How to play Bethpage Black: don't.
  19. If you aren’t used to it. I play tennis outside at 5pm two days a week. I spent most of Saturday working outside and half of Sunday too. It wasn’t an issue but I’m acclimated. Over 100 degrees yeah, no way can’t do it. It’ll kill me.
  20. I recall shitty police work with an extremely difficult crime scene, which tracks with all of what you wrote. Sadly too typical in investigations, I recall them getting on a specific, incorrect trail and refusing to move away from it.
  21. I wasn’t arguing penn st. vs whoever. I think that was someone else. I was responding to jimmyjazz saying us struggling against vandy. I don’t think it was a struggle for us regardless of the score. And yes vandy wasn’t bad at all.
  22. Ryder Cup Standings as FedEx Cup playoffs begin The American side of things appears to be a bit more complicated. That is partly because some household names have struggled this season, while others have surprisingly excelled. That will make it increasingly difficult for Bradley to make his selections. Meanwhile, things are a bit more cut and dry on the European side. Donald should have a much easier time making his selections. So, let’s break it down for each team. Team USA Rankings As it stands, Scottie Scheffler has already locked up his Ryder Cup spot. He is followed by two-time major champion Xander Schauffele (13,383 points), reigning U.S. Open champion JJ Spaun (12,478 points), Russell Henley (11,623 points), Bryson DeChambeau (10,774 points), and Harris English (10,385 points). English’s consistent play has bumped him up a few spots over the last two months. He jumped past stalwarts Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa. The next six that technically rank high enough for consideration are Thomas (10,208 points), Morikawa (9,743 points), Ben Griffin (8,803 points), captain Keegan Bradley (8,038 points), Maverick McNealy (7,414 points), and Brian Harman (7,007 points). But just because those players rank 7-12 does not mean captain Keegan will pick them. Granted, Bradley appears on the precipice of history in becoming the first playing captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963. But that still leaves five spots to fill. Andrew Novak, Patrick Cantlay, newly minted winner Cameron Young, Sam Burns, Wyndham Clark, Lucas Glover, Daniel Berger, and Chris Gotterup round out the top 20. Of those, Cantlay, Burns, and Clark were members of the 2023 Ryder Cup squad. Cantlay may not be popular, but he has proven to have the gumption for this type of competition. He has a career Ryder Cup record of 5-2-1 for 5.5 points won for the Americans. Burns and Clark have not had nearly that level of success and appear unlikely to be chosen this time around. Novak is an interesting case, because even though he is not well-known, he is having a breakout year. He has one win, one runner up, four top 10s, and nine top 25s this season. It would be surprising to see Berger or Gotterup chosen. You cannot count out Glover, since he’s part of that elder club on the PGA Tour alongside captain Keegan. But we also cannot overlook Jordan Spieth. He is only ranked 27th with 3,603 points. But his Ryder Cup experience (8-7-3, 9.5 points won), and history in major championships cannot be discounted. Thomas’ resurgence, Morikawa’s experience in big moments, and Griffin’s stellar play this year seem to make them locks. With Bradley probably choosing to play, that leaves two spots. Team Europe Rankings As I mentioned, the European side of things seem to be more clear. Rory McIlroy has already claimed his spot. He is followed by Robert MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton, Shane Lowry, and Sepp Straka. All six appear destined for Bethpage Black. The next six are Rasmus Hojgaard, Justin Rose, Ludvig Aberg, Viktor Hovland, Matt Wallace, and Matt Fitzpatrick. Rose has proven that he is made for the Ryder Cup. Aberg was stellar in 2023 and appears to be a lock, as does Hovland. Fitzpatrick, the former U.S. Open winner, is also highly likely to make the team. Jon Rahm is No. 21 in the rankings. But we all know the Spaniard will be playing in New York. The question is, who will be Donald’s final selection? That is probably between Hojgaard, Wallace, Thomas Detry, and Aaron Rai.
