You realize only one of the two names you've mentioned plays the same position as Stroh, right?
-
Boy's a sophomore there. Biz school. Supply Chain @ Walton. ROTC/Guard. Frat. He loves it. We're close to pulling the cord and moving up there as well. Daughter will be in school in Tennessee so we're not 'that' far from her. Probably the Rogers/Goshen area if I had to guess
-
I'm shocked he has us that high honestly. he said last week we'd need to beat Gator and Sooner first before moving up.
-
-
Nice of Flood to let Nick Brooks and Neto rot on the bench while Stroh gets thrown around
-
Finished last night. Not bad. Kitsch's hair became a distraction like a wig on an old homeless lady.
-
Not sure I can watch this. I know nothing about big brother but these people are annoying as shit. And it’s not even a world race.
-
Keegan has played in 2 Ryder Cups and is 4-3. I don’t think he has ever been a Vice Captain. Really green for being the captain. Especially considering the other options that are out there.

My 2 variations of a reasonable offseason plan: Option 1: Trade Walker, Sanchez, and Dubon to free up salary Sign a 2nd/3rd tier free agent SP (Gallen, Flaherty, Eflin, King, Kelly, Verlander, Littell, Civale, Morton, Houser, Fedde, Scherzer, Heaney, Canning) Trade upper level high risk/ceiling prospects for a high ceiling SP (Gore, Lopez, Ryan, Alcantara, Pepiot, Rasmussen, Cabrera) Sign a free agent 7th inning RH RP (Maton, Harvey, loads of other options) Resulting roster: SS Pena 1B Paredes DH Alvarez 3B Correa 2B Altuve RF Smith LF Cole CF Meyers Bench: Urias, Salazar, Dezenzo, Trammell SP: Brown, Rasmussen, Javier, Littell, Blubaugh, McCullers, France RP: Hader, Abreu, Harvey, King, Sousa, Okert Option 2: Trade Pena for 2 elite (MLB Top 50) prospects plus a young #4 SP Trade Meyers for 2 decent prospects other teams will want Trade some of those prospects for a high ceiling SP (Gore, Lopez, Ryan, Alcantara, Pepiot, Rasmussen, Cabrera) Sign a free agent 7th inning RH RP (Maton, Harvey, loads of other options) Roster: CF Smith 3B Paredes DH Alvarez SS Correa 2B Altuve 1B Walker RF Cole C Diaz LF Sanchez bench: Dubon, Urias, Salazar, Dezenzo SP: Brown, Rasmussen, Javier, TBD, Blubaugh, McCullers, France RP: Hader, Abreu, Harvey, Sousa, King, Okert

With Stroh in the game we need to be gap scheme with him not pulling. Zone is a lost cause.

I still believe this team has its best football in front of them and I think Texas can sneak into the playoff on the back of a very good defense. Im not expecting a SEC or national championship. At this point I'm hoping to get the Arch train fully on the tracks and ready for a big campaign next year. Also, I think our schedule sets up well for us this season and I think its possible for us to make the playoff at 9-3.

Astros were 4th in the majors in starter K’s this year with 857 (dodgers were 8th), and 2nd (by 11) behind Seattle in the AL. Framber did provide 21.8% of that. I feel Arrighetti and Blubaugh have the stuff to fill the strikeout void, but not the combination of innings eater + K rate. (Framber gave you 192 IP this year. Blubaugh 128 across all levels this year, 100 last year. Arrighetti 145 IP last year, 125 the year before) despite being 8th in starting pitching K’s, the Dodgers edged us out by 1 for most total K’s (1,505 to 1,504). I know starting pitching is important in the playoffs but I’m not completely sold it’s more important than bullpen in October.

2025 CFB Playoff Predictions - Often Wrong, But Never In Doubt

They hire people at ESPN that sees Sanders on the back of a Lions jersey and they think it’s Shedeur lol espn is beyond trash -
That was part of my point. I'm not saying quality candidates can't come out of Arkansas, but that doesn't really change the overall position of the school within the academic hierarchy of the US. And yeah, I no longer hire out of the Ivies unless it's Penn and try to avoid Stanford for similar reasons. Conversely, LSU and OU are off-limits for just producing almost nothing but incompetence. LSU should just be closed. Their output is doing more harm than good for any economy they wind up being a part of in this country.

Had some really good peaches that were almost overripe. And had some goodies we picked up at Central Market’s “taste of Germany” - meats and cheeses and whatnot. Made a cold peach soup with fresh mint and put out a little spread.

Yes, lets cost an undefeated top 10 SEC team a game in favor a team who's probably going to fire their coach.
-
Next time try harder?
-
Oh I also fully expect Bama to score 40+ on Vanderbilt's defense. Vanderbilt is basically a 2010's era Big 12 team.

As good as Romo was in those 8-8 years, he didn't truly become completely at ease with running an offense until 2014. He said so himself, that that was the year where it all "slowed down" for him. He really felt he knew what was going on at all times. Dak is there now. No that doesn't mean he's the elite of elites, but he's better than "just a good QB" What he does for this team, at the podium, with all the fucking circus he has to deal with in the most high profile and unforgiving position in all of sports should be applauded. Not trashed. Thanks a lot Offense... That's the rubs...he shows up FAR more than he doesn't and they lose for whatever reason. The issue is that most people think the only BIG moments are ones he fails in and ignores the big moments he does show up, like they weren't big.

Oh come on. Bad feet for a 370 pound galoot is a systemic problem that isn't going to work itself out. This dude is going to be exploited by every staff worth a fuck that Texas faces. Luckily there are no excellent defensive minds remaining on the schedule for Texas to face, so yeah, we're good to go and should just cross our fingers and give him time. I joke about the "Kyle Flood needs to be fired" arguments being made throughout this thread, but if we don't see material developments as the season progresses, how the OL is being handled needs to be examined in the offseason. On the one hand, the NFL production has been outstanding, particularly considering that Goosby will be following suit. On the other hand, the run blocking has sucked from day one and the talent acquisition hasn't been spotless.

Awesome show it never ended. Just kept going also someone needs to kick this guys ass, putting hands on our Dana

The Chardonnay set? Yes the elitists are all drinking Chardonnay.

I've hired grads from blueblood schools that were terrible, and I've hired folks who went to small directional schools who were fantastic. So, YMMV. Anyway, back to football.
