You're not exactly known for getting the year correct. Just sucks to ruin a National Championship team thread. -
Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

So, have Democrats lost the narrative yet? -
Or the current court, especially the MAGA judges are content to sit back, earn $300k (in salary) plus whatever other grifts they can pull down for life.

Apparently enough that a lot of American oilfield services companies have offices over there. Owens Tool has one, I think Core Services, as well. Those are both companies that have offices close to Granbury. When my son was looking for an engineering job, several had Singapore offices. CHIEF

To open the 2002 game in Fayetteville, Arkansas kicked the football out of the back of the end zone. On the first play from scrimmage, “Shaudie” took a draw play 80 yards to the house, untouched. Pound for pound, that guy was one the best college football players I ever saw. Tough, fast, sure handed. His tearful argument to keep Mike Price was eloquent but the die had been cast. I’ll remember Shaud when our defense tries to handle Mike Shula’s offense at South Carolina in a few weeks.

It’s 2026 already?

Me also. I remember how small a place it was and then they expanded. I’m trying to remember if they expanded 2 times or 1.

I appreciate an aggressive stopper far more than the Go, no you go, no you go.

I find that hard to believe. Attorneys are such kind and honest people.

Trump's socialization of American companies
Disco Strangler replied to Wally Fairway's topic in Cloak Room
NPR had an interesting economist addressing what we are seeing. While there are some aspects that would partially fit the definitions of socialism or communism, those aren't really accurate. It's also not accurate to call it "state capitalism" which is how economists often describe Chinese system which is guided by multiple persons or groups within the government. Instead, he says what we are experiencing is "crony capitalism." One fact fuck making decisions to cut himself and his oligarch group in on specific corporate (and economic sector) decisions. https://www.npr.org/2025/09/26/g-s1-90598/tiktok-deal-trump-oracle#:~:text="There is a growing set,for it time after time." -

They look like they're required to be a bit more than that. Someone the other day at a 4-way-stop was coming from the opposite direction as me and planning to turn left across me. We stopped at virtually the same time. She then proceeds to go first. Sure, why not. Why even stop at all? Let's just do whatever we feel like.

Trump's socialization of American companies
956 Worldwide replied to Wally Fairway's topic in Cloak Room
Hey libs, these companies aren’t being socialized. No one’s distributing ownership to the workers or running them for the benefits of the state! They’re simply being forced to surrender interest and some control for the personal benefit of the leader. OWNED, LIB! -

Y'all need to explain me something. My first bass was a Peavey T-40 ca 1983 or so. By any standard, an entry level bass. It weighed approximately two million tons. If you fiddled the knobs right one way, you could get a decent bright tone; if you set them another, a decent heavy tone. All other settings were pointless. In the 90s I upgraded to an Ibanez fretless SDGR SR800. It could do every good sound the Peavey could do, made a lot of sounds the Peavey couldn't do, and weighed a lot less. You can buy one used for like $400. Now here's my question. WHAT IN THE GODDAMN HELL IS GOING ON HERE? That someone would buy a goddamn cinder block disguised as a musical instrument for more than $100, much LESS this kinda price, ... you gotta be outta your fuckin mind. what the fuck
