  2. Number 1 baby.
  3. LA was a test run, this is the first federal occupation and will serve as the road map for future cleansing
  4. Is it a bad sign when a weather system is barely off the coast of Africa and has already reached tropical storm strength?
  5. As long as DC is the seat of our government, crime there will always be high. Need to get rid of the politicians to really make a dent.
  6. I'm embarrassed he's anywhere representing the United States of America.
  7. Dummy. Good lord.
  8. Does this stuff happen more often in LA than other places, or do they simply sensationalize it better than other places?
  9. Wife made me watch this with the kids last night. Really cheesy, but so was the original. The long necks being romantic was too cheesy though, complete eye roll. The mutant dinosaur also felt really out of place, like a middle finger to fans who watch because of a legit love of actual dinosaurs. Plenty of other wtf stuff but whatever I wasn’t expecting Citizen Cane.
  10. Okay, here's the defensive version of the offensive write-up already posted. I can now confirm that Tarp is either one of the greatest gaslighters in sports writing history, or he's so far in the tank about this ATM team because he's a lifelong redass aggie that he's hopeless. I assume it is the latter. The article is unintentionally hilarious. Highlights: -He claims that the Edge spots are now more talented and deeper than last year. Understand, last year saw Shemar Stewart and Nick Scourton starting there for them. In the words of the Virgin Mary, "come again?" He goes on to claim that it is so deep, a true freshman might not get any snaps! Dayon Hayes, a mediocrity at prior stops, is apparently killing it for The Elk. -He admits that the offense is ahead of the defense thus far, largely due to the offense being awesome. It's almost never a good thing to have an offense ahead of a defense early in camp. This isn't a Lane Kiffin or Sarkisian offensive complexity they're dealing with on the campus in BCS, either. -While the defense is absolutely and admittedly going to be smaller than last year, The Elk is suddenly really valuing speed and agility over size, even with the front 3/4. There are two ironies to this guy taking that position. The first is that these dimwits have been tweeking out about the SEC being a "Line of Scrimmage League" for over a decade. It's been hammered to us from the media while Texas was entering the SEC with clowns all over attempting to knock Texas "not ready for our LOS league here, fellas." Right. The second irony is that he claims they're upgrading defensive speed while also admitting that Taurean York and their entire secondary are returning. Sweet Christ. It's delicious. -Julian Humphrey, who was projected by all to take over for Dezz Ricks opposite Will Lee, is now running behind Ricks at CB. Ricks was a savior that folks pointed to last winter and then he continued to suck when he got to campus. They go out and pick up Humphrey and do the same shit with him, and get credit for it! Now Ricks is "someone to look out for at Corner" again. I think I follow him here. What he means is that Ricks is going to be hollering "look out!" to the Safeties throughout each game. -HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!
  11. Does inertia wear off? Has this scientific discovery been published?
  12. You talking about that big black square-ish spot on the bow? If so, you can see in other videos that was there before they booped.
  13. I'm sure all the homeless rounded up will get the healthcare, dependency treatment, and/or mental health treatment they need in the gulags they get shipped off to against their will even though they're United States citizens. This was America.
  14. Where’s Jake tapster!!!
  15. Something I have been struggling with is where to draw my red lines and how to react when they’re crossed. Prior to Jan 6, I was not really that worried about how the Trump/MAGA movement would play out. I considered it temporary and ineffectual, at least in the long term. The Insurrection on January 6th 2021 was the first time I felt truly worried about how this was going to go. But Biden took office and things seemed to settle down. Trump’s re-election was yet another turning point for me, as it showed that the pendulum wasn’t really swinging back the way I thought it would and that the Trump/maga craziness wasn’t going away like I expected. Now there are loads of things happening that I never could have imagined. Masked men in unmarked cars kidnapping people off the streets. Far right state governments gerrymandering at the behest of the president. The president deploying federal troops to take over a city against the wishes of local leadership. When do we decide enough is enough? And what do we do when that line gets crossed? I can’t believe this is where we are. I know one clear red line for me would be Trump running for a 3rd term; I will NOT stand by and let that happen and would risk my life to prevent that from happening. But Texas redistricting mid-decade for the sole purpose of handing Trump full control of congress for 2 more years also might be a red line.
  16. First glance, mostly a repeat of my thoughts on coaches poll. Way too high: LSU Miami Too high: Aggie OU Oregon Tennessee probably Liberty (gtfo) FSU Way too low: Indiana Washington Georgia Tech Too low: Arizona State I don't get PSU...
  17. Well that sure worked out swimmingly lol
  18. Best guess is Bobby is well aware that the offense is probably going over a lot of their base offense early in camp and the wrinkles will come as camp progresses. This was probably his way of saying calm the fvck down this is normal camp sh!t
  19. Ghost of LL

    Tex Mex

The new salsa verde at Maudie's is pretty damn good. But it pisses me off that they're charging for salsa. Oh well--I'll fucking pay for it.
