  1. Past hour
  2. The biggest question of the year is why they didn’t implement all these new offensive concepts and the OL unit we have now during the bye week before Florida when it was clear these changes needed to be made.
  3. Below, kind of sets a framework for what we should expect as a team over the next 4 years. The staff doesn’t think it is a problem, but I do. We would have 2 spares with Scherer and Wright. We would have an athletic, skilled undersized tackle who will need to move inside for the NFL. And we have a solid interior lineman. That my friends is absolute crap recruiting for a team that has title aspirations. We have 2 guys for 5 positions as long as neither ever gets injured or misses playing time. —— Brysten Martinez, OT, Gonzales (La.) East Ascension - *LSU commit OnTexasFootball ranking: 4-star+ Where it stands: Texas has their work cut out for them should Lane Kiffin announce he's headed to LSU in a week. But, Texas seemingly has a better shot on the surface with Martinez than Richard Anderson. Made OV with his mom. Kaden Scherer, OT, Georgetown (Texas) High - *Stanford commit OnTexasFootball ranking: 3-star++ Where it stands: This one isn't cut and dry on the flip due to being a Stanford commit. But Texas has true proximity on their side. Made OV with his family.
  4. Yep, even from game 1, some of us here were noticing the glaring lack of short & IM routes. It was like we were running 1/3 of a passing offense. Pretty baffling.
  5. The players are also responsible. That loss is not all on the coaches.
  6. Been meaning to ask, but Pitt + Auburn seems to be a rather incongruous, if not bizarre combo. Unless you're an engineer.
  7. MK Davis...
  8. You guys are good this year, but you’re not as good as you think you are. Texas is flawed, but no longer as bad as the masses “want” to believe they are. Will be interesting to see what transpires Friday.
  9. Couldn’t watch the game live yesterday. Had a conflict. Watching it this morning. For the third straight week, Sark has finally started mixing in short routes a few yards off the line of scrimmage, where they run slants against mtm coverage, or plant into an open space against zone coverage. Why the hell he didn’t do this before is a mystery. Not only does this move the chains, it opens up intermediate and long passing routes, as well as the run game. I stopped watching the Georgia game in the second half so I’m not sure what they did against them, but with these adjustments no defense in the country should be able to stop this offense. Too bad they blew the season before figuring it out.
  10. Do you have functioning brain cells that allow you to comprehend sarcasm?
  11. My Juarez crew may show up. I never know.
  12. Why do I get the feeling this douche will have some karma come his way soon
  13. It's Clem in human form
  14. Juan was good and wide open a lot. He had some really unfortunate drops that cost him more targets.
  15. After 3 quarters of a loudmouth arkie fuckhead sitting in front of me; in reference to their conference record, I began yelling, "zero, six, now seven...SIX SEVEN" over and over again until they left. Good times, lotsa laughter. HAHA
  16. TE position just needs to grow up. Lot of talent in that room. I love Townsend’s upside. Good to see Sark call a play for him, wish he had a little room to show off his athleticism on that
  17. Outside of Wisner and Simon I think you can change over the entire room honestly. Cooper comes in as a true freshman and two transfers to compliment those three is how I would go. Do you have eye balls and have you watched any football this year?
  18. Like Juan Davis was a monster, or an actual monster?
  19. Yep. Cam Dickey, from Crockett. I coached him in summer baseball for about his last 3 years here. Great kid, and a beast for Tech now. Good on 'im!
  20. That is a new thing. Used to be all about speed.
  21. Understood and agree. But current rules are current rules and was trying to answer the question earnestly.
  22. Spoken like a man with years of experience.
