The argument is that a temporary distortion in net exports (Exports - Imports) can skew the GDP calculation. As I understand it, In this case, they're saying that the binge purchasing of imports before the tariffs kicked in skewed GDP and that things will re-balance to some extent in the coming months as those imports hit the consumption part of the equation. (For the record, I am not an economist.) https://www.stlouisfed.org/publications/page-one-economics/2018/09/04/how-do-imports-affect-gdp

I bet you’re low by $2-3B to get a project like that done. Look at the Integrated Pipeline Project by Tarrant Regional Water Authority pipelining water from Lake Palestine and tying into pipelines from Cedar Creek and Richland Chamber to Benbrook. Some of it was a new 108” section and they spent $2.5B for a shorter distance and easier digging terrain. https://www.trwd.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/IPLQuarterlyExecutiveSummary-202409_FINAL_web-compressed.pdf

Earley truly seems and acts like a clown out there. He clearly is not ready for the head coaching job.

They also just lost to UNCW midweek. Aggy took 2/3 from Tenn and Pig. Any team that is good enough to host is dangerous. Nothing about NC St, or any other team in the country should give us pause or concern. -
Can't wait. My favorite show. Here's the teaser from the link

It depends. If you drink 2-3 pours of regular (nonflavored) Vodka every night with nothing but ice and maybe club soda, that's about 98 calories per standard shot, which are purely empty calories. And it's going to affect your metabolism, causing your liver to create more cholesterol and fat, and making it more difficult access stored fat to burn as energy. Maybe to your more general point, no, you don't need to abstain completely from alcohol to bolster weight loss in combination with exercise and healthier food consumption. And, yes, some alcohols are better than others in terms of sugar and other carbs that further tax your liver and go straight to your love handles. But as you get older, drinking "good" alcohol even in moderation makes shedding pounds much more challenging. So I stand by my proposition that cutting alcohol (including straight unflavored vodka) is a game changer. And personally, I don't do that on a regular basis (football season? forget it). But when I abstain completely for some significant amount of time (e.g. Dry January) and don't change anything else about my diet and exercise, I can more easily and visually cut off some excess pounds.
