The flip side is there are places all over that will pass whatever piece of shit you bring them so long as you pay the fee. The people driving said pieces of shit know which places to take these vehicles to.

Unfortunately, I hear the same gloom and DOOM about Mount Baker near Seattle and Mount Shasta in NoCal..... both "angry/evil/Sith/etc./Lulz" quiet volcanoes that are still ready to pop, so the vulcanologists have warned for decades, so they can eventually be "proven correct". Lulz.

I just want to say that if we get Carlos Correa it will be a very very very happy day at my house and all yall saying no to that deal should feel very bad for being very very wrong. It's too awesome to happen I'm afraid. I don't want to get my hopes up. But come on, make it so.

I kind of think they bought that Utica shit to take the shine off of their apple. Kidding, but maybe not.
-
TX-10 and -11 are fucking ridiculous. Fuck these pieces of shit.

Had I picked the correct lottery numbers last night I'd be a multi millionaire

Had Walker been hitting all season like he has the past 6 weeks, everyone would be gruntled.

Shipley swallowed by private equity. RIP Shipley
billfromlaketravis replied to Chopper's topic in Daily Texan
Agreed, but a hot, fresh donut is almost always outstanding. Work has ruined Shipley’s for me. They usually have the guy that gets in at 5am pick them up on his way to work. They then sit out until our meeting at 9am. So 4.5 hours of just getting cold and stale. Microwaving is usually effective, but it’s not as good. The only above average locations are North Main and Ella. North Main is open 24 hours so they usually have a fresh batch out. Ella serves a cake donut which is pretty popular with the old timers. Some will argue the far west Westheimer location, but they should be shuttered for what they call beignets. I really don’t care. They’re extremely mediocre to begin with, and much like Chicago Whataburger, something better will rise to replace them. -

is he officially the designated coach for punt blocking? -
I don't suppose we can include Walker in any of our trades? Would be nice to unload his worthless bat.

I wouldn’t be confident about Greg beating Doggett in a May primary with that map. That seems like a coin flip. That said, a primary would surprise me. the was I heard it was that Doggett was hanging it up in 2028 anyway, so maybe he retires sooner. Less likely but still possible is that one of those guys moves and attempts to break the gerrymander.

I see Rex already had a new handle ready to spin up after he got crowd sourced

I don't think the text messages bode well for Isaiah. Rather than deny anything, he apologizes. Life is often messy and there may have been a misunderstanding between them about boundaries. Or, it could be a clear case of sexual assault. Regardless, I sure hope he can get this behind him and get on with his career. He has come so far from his childhood, where he overcame profound poverty. I sure would hate it if this turns out to be a, "Whatever happened to Isaiah Bond?," story.

Exactly. There was a time when I'd regularly see cars on the road that weren't a whole lot better off than this one. You know, people just doin' their own thing. But not in decades, because inspections.

you're telling me hamas still has a leadership structure in place after the IDF has killed >60,000 """hamas members"""? I thought all of the deaths were justified killings of hamas members, so there could hardly be any left, right? You are again asserting that this group of beseiged and genocided palestinians has no ability but to put hamas in charge. Hamas has been in charge because once they gained the levers of power they made it so no more change could occur. That strangle hold has been broken, I would say. It's just that now instead of relenting, the IDF is using it as an excuse to murder people at breadlines.

punt blocking is a unique skill like saving penalties in soccer the technique to avoid kicker simulation (flops) is totally different for outside speed rushers v. inside leapers i would hope we have a dedicated assistant coaching specialist on this -

Here’s an article about how Venables plans to be physical during the fall camp and writes off the injuries from last year as some sort of weird aberration. The last quote of the article tells you everything you need to know and it is awesome. -
So the home team is allowed to hit home runs after all?

I picked up a pair of these Costa Reefton Pro glasses a couple weeks ago. I have several pairs of Costas over the years and still have three pairs in addition to these. The little groves on the nose piece really helped them not fog up while wearing a balaclava. The 580 glass lenses are great for fishing inshore.
