Also likely the nail for him getting the supermax extension. I don't really have a problem with it as long as he's healthy for the playoffs. Of course, he would have to play fewer than 65 games next year too, but there's a pretty big difference between 25% and 30% of the cap as it relates to building out the rest of the roster.
There needs to be a good way to jettison some of the bowl sites to move the games to campus in the 2nd round and not have to go beyond 12 if you stay with the top 4 getting byes. Rose, Sugar, Orange trade off the final four and championship. Fiesta, Cotton, and Peach...sorry as you don't really play in a site that's historic combined with all but the Fiesta has a championship game in it leading up to the playoff. But I'm sure we'll go to 16 and it won't matter.
Man I feel for you. I have a friend who lives around the corner from y'all, and they're going through similar. They've spent all this time working with the engineers and adjusters and everything else to determine the extent of the necessary repairs, and they're about to vacate their house for however many months it takes to tear it apart and rebuild it. The explosion moved the entire facing wall several inches off its spot on the foundation.
2025 was an unusual year. Bitcoin made all time highs throughout the year, culminating above $126,000 on October 6th. It then dumped hard for about 6 weeks. It has now stayed steady in the 80s for over a month. Ended the year -6% which is interesting because ending in the red for 2025 technically ends the history of repeating 4 year cycles. So the optimistic view would be that a 2 year bear market coming is no longer a given. 2026 is a midterm election year so I would expect some crypto pandering to happen. We'll see.
Even the brainwashed Russians suspect that they weren't wished a happy new year by the real Putin, but by an AI-generated version of him. Several arguments for this theory are being presented on Russian channels: - The dictator's head appears to move independently of his body. - The sleeves of his coat look empty, as if there were no hands there. - Putin didn't say that the year was "difficult," as he does every year. - Russians are reporting that even pensioners have noticed this. ——- It is odd how much his head floats around/above the collar.
For real, bozo is talking out of both sides of his mouth here. "Progressives drove away the masses with their over eager progressivism" "Progressives just need to keep doing the same thing, they'll totally get different results" Really strange to see people so eager to denigrate any and every non white man as the reason for all of their problems, rather than just calling out the class war we all are enjoying.
Posted this in the recruiting thread, but to good not to post here. @Beau Vine boy is on a roll. Gig Em GazetteLonghorns wanting to snag Cam Coleman from A&M are missin...This one may come down to these two in-state rivals— and the Aggies should have the leg up.
Gibson to Purdue would be fine with me. He's better than all the spares they have at RB right now. We have Connor Stroh to thank for that. Given Texas does not play Kentucky next year and Purdue does not play Northwestern, I'd kind of prefer Stroh go to one of our competitors. At least we'd know where to send Kanu - on every play.
I'm just minding my own darn business here in Watauga with my cup of Folgers Breakfast Blend. Hoping Sark knocks it out of the park again with these transfers but also lamenting y'all talking so much crud about these good kids like Livingstone and making them leave!!!
This thread becomes even dumber. If we got what OP wanted, 3 of the 4 teams who lost on the field would have been automatically placed in the semifinals. Guarantee you if we had the playoff this whole time, there would be different national champions in various years. How many good teams have been left out over time? A lot. To think only 4 teams in the entire FBS are worthy is delusional. We've had 2 years of this and both years proved the old format was ridiculous.
