  1. Past hour
  2. One of the best places to eat in the 806!!!
  3. What? Didn't we all gain the freshman 65?
  4. Fucking Uncle Leo here 🤣
  5. I worked in the same office with Stonie Clark for a few months. He could not take two steps if somebody new was at the office and was a Texas fan without being told thank you. Most times that was followed by offers to go to lunch. Tre gave all that stuff up because his agent did not know what the market is doing and on top of it they handled it the wrong way. In this cycle you can forgive agents not knowing the market seems to be in flux but not stepping on the plane like has been mentioned in places that is just burning bridges.
  6. MORE demo coming to the WH? Apparently dotard needs more kickback & money laundering so will continue to make the WH unrecognizable thinks "symmetry" is needed.
  7. Because it's a liberal state, Tim Walz, etc. and because in larger cities, some shit could go down.
  8. I guess even signed doesn't mean much to some
  9. $1700/mo for a high deductible (10k), high OOP plan (10500) through the marketplace in CO for my wife and I, self-employed in CO. Had to switch insurers (from Anthem BCBS to some new plan in CO) otherwise it would've been $2300/month.
  10. Thats awesome. Same with my kid. His roommate is a long time friend who has always under achieved. I was concerned with him dragging my kid down. But my kid has found new friends, and while his roommate rots in the dorm, my kid gets out and does things. It almost encourages him to do better daily and find healthy places to study and not be that guy. My kid made varsity in soccer as a Junior and started. Roomate got cut. Been that way since they were 9 years old. Band, soccer, academics, and girlfriends. So just because fuck ups follow you; it doesn't determine outcome. Especially this generation. They hardly drink and aside from phone usage are pretty solid. It was actually nice to start the semester with friendly faces and parents we knew. Its also super convenient to have a few local friends to carpool home with. I feel a little bit safer about him driving 8 hrs with someone to keep him awake. They also all went to meet friends at UT Dallas. And had friends visit. Nice balance of new friends to move on from. Knowing a few friends at a school isnt a terrible thing until you find your people. Even at UT I would have classes with high school people I didn't know well and we would share notes and calloborate. It was helpful versus approaching some random person "hey I am missing Friday, can I get notes" By Junior year I didn't really hang with many HS friends. Will look into fly fishing club. Thank you.
  11. This pulte guy is a genius indeed, straight shooter with upper management potential
  12. I'm not unfriending people - I'm challenging them, but only a bit - overwhelm them and they shut down and run off/unfriend you/whatever. I'm not talking about the victim with them (you won't change their minds if they've made them up about her). I'm pushing back in two ways - one, I've told multiple people that Trump said the agent was run over and in the hospital, and I've provided links showing that he wasn't run over and that he was walking around for a long time after, giving orders, talking to other agents, etc. and I'm simply asking "Either Donald Trump lied or somebody lied to Donald Trump, why do you think this lie is being pushed on national TV when the videos show otherwise?" The other thing that I'm quietly pushing is that for most of the 90s and 2000s, Rush Limbaugh warned about the liberals turning us into a Big Government "papers please" police state where federal agents can just randomly stop and ask people to prove who they were, and here we are where federal agents are randomly stopping people across the US, going into public spaces, and doing the "papers please" thing all the while masked up so you can't ID them, etc., I ask these people if they are okay with what Rush Limbaugh warned about, since it turned out to not be the liberals pushing this, but Republicans. Am I changing minds? By keeping it simple and focused on a single point or two, I am talking to them about it. If I were to bust out everything that is happening around this, the whole big picture of why this is happening, that we are distracted from Epstein and various other things, that there is definitely a white-supremacist angle (and if you bring that up with a white relative, they feel like you are accusing them of being white supremacists so that conversation ends/devolves), these people are going to get you lost in the details. But if you zero in on a few small things that are hard to deny - the cop was not run over, Trump claimed he was, and that we have federal agents across the US in a "papers please" Big Government capacity, you can engage them and at least make them uncomfortable.
  13. With so many Americans living paycheck to paycheck, and with health insurance likely tied to employment, a general strike is a reach. At some point you have act on principle though, consequences be damned. If not now, when?
  14. Are we sure that these two mammoth DL’s aren’t getting converted to the o-line because they fit Flood’s size profile?
  15. So, that’s why Livingstone transferred there…in part.
  16. With all these roster changes, will Sark decide a Spring game this year would be beneficial? I would imagine so, but in Sark we trust!
  17. Agreed in principal, but nothing signed I would assume.
  18. So Burton's tweet and Horton's announcement and Brandon Harris's certainty and jawing have to mean Coleman is going to Alabama, right?
  19. I love BB calling out that piece of shit Loogie.
  20. Top value in that immediate vicinity is 2.8M for a 5/8 10.7k Sq foot. Most everything else in 79424 is in the low 200s. I cannot imagine what compels someone to take their 3M home budget and build an abomination across from a steakhouse that is desperately clinging to a 4 star yelp rating
  21. He took drum lessons in the 90s from Freddie Gruber. He felt he'd hit a wall with his playing and wasn't improving. So from Test For Echo on, he switched to a traditional grip and changed how he played, became much more fluid. Vapor Trails was a little rough because he hadn't played in a while, having taken a break after his wife and daughter died. That said... Rush absolutely lost their groove through the 80s. Then they got it back for Counterparts. You can hear them struggling to get back to it on Presto (a good album without any really great tunes) and Roll the Bones (a couple of good tunes on an otherwise forgettable album), but I'd argue that Counterparts is up there with their best albums ever. I probably listen to Vapor Trails Remixed more than any other album of theirs.
