What the fuck is wrong with you, Houston? Non-CR thread

Not a Cul-de-sac and pre Harvey. Maybe thereβs a trend of grandfather murders. -
Hell I said we should have traded him last year. Even more value. Heβs a mental midget. Heβs been throwing these weakness tantrums his whole career. Would anyone be scared to face him in the playoffs? I know the guys in the clubhouse know exactly how to get in his head when we eventually face him someday. The implosion will be awesome. That shit last night was uncalled for. I donβt know who the clubhouse leader is in there but I canβt think of anyone who would get in his face. Well maybe Correa. Wish we had a manager like Bochy. Espada just seems weak as fuck. I thought last year was tough to watch but this year is worse. Canβt wait for Sunday.

Not buying thus. Manning has some pretty good resources for mechanics as well as a private coach.

This. Ringwald was smart enough to decline Some Kind of Wonderful, but decided the Ohio indie version of Pretty in Pink. Was a good idea. I guess, we all have a mortgage and bills to pay.

@Bodhi, love to see it, seriously! I'll reach out if I'm in Denver for recommendations, if for nothing else, since I've never been. [Postscript on mine, since I never followed up. I ended up getting an offer in early October last year and starting November 11th and am thriving in my not-quite-new role. Through applying AI as you and I described, I made a ton of progress but it ended up being old-fashioned networking. I contacted an old classmate of mine, who put me in touch with a well-connected friend of his, who put me in touch with the General Counsel of where I work now. They'd been looking to fill the role for almost a year but were being picky, as was I with my interviews, and it worked out. I should have also added that my ex-wife and I had a tacit understanding that we were getting divorced after I went back to work and we could walk away alimony/child support free on both sides, so the pressure was there, too.] - Today

Despite all the vitriol between Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys, the star pass rusher made one last-ditch effort to try and get a deal done. Two days before he was traded to the Green Bay Packers, Parsons had his agent reach out to the Cowboys to try and bury the hatchet, according to ESPN. Parsons' agent David Mulugheta reportedly sent an email to Jerry and Stephen Jones, telling the pair Mulugheta would come to Dallas or hop on a video call to hammer out a deal. Jerry Jones reportedly shut that down, saying Parsons would need to play on his fifth-year option if he stayed with the Cowboys in 2025, per ESPN. Jerry Jones responded to the message, saying the Cowboys were prepping a trade and if Parsons wanted to play in Dallas in 2025, he would have to do so on his fifth-year option. Parsons would become a free agent in 2026, but the team could also use the franchise tag to prevent his departure at that point. The team could use the franchise tag on Parsons twice if he played out his fifth-year option, something Jones indicated multiple times he would do with Parsons. The threat created a scenario where Parsons would have played on three consecutive one-year deals with the Cowboys unless he agreed to a deal Jones believed the pair negotiated during a March meeting in which Mulugheta was not present. https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/micah-parsons-reportedly-made-last-ditch-effort-to-sign-extension-with-cowboys-2-days-before-packers-trade-154206342.html
