  4. It will be 2026, nobody in this country has the attention span to watch a 2hr movie, so they aren't going to be thinking about a shutdown a year ago when they're at the ballot box. They're going to be thinking about whatever FoxNews or the new and approved right wing TikTok told them earlier that morning as they talked to that nice young soldier who is at the polling place to protect them from any rabid trans person trying to use the bathroom.

  7. We need to know what kind of depravity he got up to in El Paso.
  8. So I understand the frustration of just saying to shut down the government, but if the Dems don’t do it in the context of winning the propaganda war they will not do well in the mid terms. And that is the real goal. Once again, the Democrats can’t get out of the way of their own bad/no strategies.
  9. Because she’s one of the most toxic and inept politicians I’ve ever seen and played a bigger role than anyone outside the Biden family in getting Donald Trump elected. She consistently underperforms other Democrats in her home state and nationally in polling, and her numbers get worse as you go further into communities Democrats need to win. Nobody dislikes Elizabeth Warren less than Democrat and D-lean unaffiliated voters in her own state. Not surprisingly then, her influence on the rest of the party has been a disaster. More than any other single person she is responsible for alienating tech from the Democratic establishment (not exclusively but in particular with her absurd war on bitcoin), and that played a decisive role in Trump’s victory in November. I never thought we would see a politician more disinterested in the reality of electoral calculus than Hillary Clinton, but Warren managed to surprise me.
  10. His stripper companions literally ordered two of everything on the room service breakfast menu, using his UA credit card.
  11. I know i can't remember when i got paid 20 million for doing nothing a few years ago. I think I recall my bank account going up, but i'm not too sure about it.
  12. It always works out in the end in these kind of deals... I remember back when EA acquired Austin's own Origin. Origin made the Ultima games, Wing Commander and lots of other games like Space Rogue (which I am credited on). Origin was one of the old school giants of the industry. I say was because EA shut that shit down as a cost savings move. No more Ultima, no more WC, no more for an Austin original company. It always works out...
  13. Not specifically, but it’s heart and soul Spencer Hall is a Florida guy, so it had a ton of that flavor.

  15. Florida is the embodiment of SDLSU before Robert Bucher Jr. So relax, you're going to have a good time.
  16. Very cool. Ethan Hawke singing "John Brown's Body" was funnier if you knew that he played Brown in Good Lord Bird.

  22. Going to see Peach Pit tonight. Should be a good show, but oh man it's going to make me feel old.
  23. The Cliff Booth white outfit from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a true classic. It perfectly reflects his laid-back, cool personality while still being effortlessly stylish. The clean white look with the retro vibe makes it stand out as one of the most memorable outfits from the film. No wonder the Cliff Booth white outfit has become such an iconic piece of movie fashion.
  24. I had a Dale Murphy, but I’m pretty sure that’s in my softball glove from college. Next time I’m up at my Mom’s house, she still has my old kid’s glove from the 70’s in a closet. That Buckner play I remember so well. Growing up in the pre-500 TV sports channel era of course we watched whatever live sporting event was on TV. There’s just a few plays like that that were electric in the moment that created lifelong memories. John McEnroe and Borg at Wimbledon for instance. What are some others?
  25. Seems like a good show so far. I did some background work on this show for a few days and was involved in the funeral scene and wake which was shot at the First Baptist Church North Tulsa on Greenwood back in May. Was really impressed with Sterlin Harjo. He actually spent time directing and chatting with extras. Very laidback guy who seems to really love what he does. During the reception scene, Harjo came up and told me to take my phone out and act like I was filming the confrontation. Of course, you’re not supposed to have a camera on set. But after a few takes, I decided - what the heck - and turned my phone on and filmed a few takes.
