  1. Past hour
  2. Who broke my girl’s arm?!
  3. Yes, chief, I just explained the difference to you.
  4. Having fun = possible heisman contender Wild wacky stuff
  5. The Mamdani Housing plan:
  6. Maybe it’s time to start referring to each of Mason Shipley and Will Stone as simply “the kicker”
  7. This. If Tech is ever #1 in football it won't happen until the end of the last game of the year. Their big money boosters have been throwing around a lot of NIL money and the expectations are pretty high. Lots of new stadium construction, too.
  8. You made it through a season of Silas Bolden fielding punts. Whoever is back there this year is going to drop the pucker factor several notches simply by not being Silas Bolden. I understand having worries about turning the ball over with muffed punts, but that's going to be a risk regardless. If I could rank the points of emphasis in terms of positions we need to win this year to reach our goals, there's a good chance punt returns would rank last on that list. Just catch the ball. Anything beyond that is golden.
  9. I haven't thought about this guy in years but wasn't he critical of Trump’s immigration policies and Trump’s response to the George Floyd protests?
  10. Just saw. I think it was perfect. Absolutely loved it.
  11. If I can't troll a ribbonfish off the fantail and get the captain to stop so I can land the kingfish, well, I'm just not interested.
  12. Hope this link works. Cool Zenith 750. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0b0SoC9OxDTrgLRSG296YMIZQ
  13. DeAndre Moore at punt returner has me nervous for a variety of reasons. IT mentioned he muffed one today. Ryan Niblett also has me nervous for completely different reasons, mainly the fact that we’ve seen the dude do very little on a football field besides move positions about every 3 months.
  14. Yeah, Gerry mentioned that in their podcast. Too early to be conclusive, but not too early to be interesting. I do think we're a bit behind in numbers on the OL. Especially tackle. Early on in this cycle I drank the kool-aid and thought we'd be bringing in a 5 or even 6 person class filled with 4 and 5 star studs from across the country ("we're getting errybody!"). I'm hoping for some flips prior to signing day. We've refrained from going to the portal for OL so far. I wonder if that changes this year.
  15. Per my previous post, so do you understand the difference between market rate and affordable (and supportive) housing? Simple "yes" or "no" will do. I'm assuming you don't. No one gives a shit about St. Paul or San Francisco. We're talking about NYC here, right? Also, the "C" in CEQA for California, right? Please don't litter this discussion with sound bite-sounding things like "You cannot spend your way out of the housing crisis." How would you know? You need to make a pass at the bolded part above before we can discuss further. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
  16. Where's this asshole attacking the trump administration for kidnapping people off of the streets? If he's so passionate about authorities kidnapping people.
  17. Not sure if mentioned in here yet but after Brooks went out, Jackson Christian moved to RT.
  18. It feels like it's going to have to be 4th and 20 or the end of the half/winning kick for Sarkisian to even attempt one from that distance.
  19. I think he missed one from 50+ and made the rest.
  20. Yeah, no. 1. Doubling down on rent control - yes, maintaining status quo and advocating for more (rent control on all housing regardless of construction date and vacancy control as well). We have decades of research on how disastrous this is, with St Paul providing us with real time data. Pure Left NYMBYism. edit: you had this absurd notion that rent control being long established it was a good thing - to be clear all data has shown is has not been overall except for the direct incumbent renters who benefited. No HCOL jurisdiction with rent control has maintained affordability over the last few decades. They also usually downzoned. What a coincidence. 2. lol You’re not going to set me straight with anything. Market rate development is about $1k/sq ft in San Francisco and when the city gets involved it goes to $1.3k/sq ft. Same elsewhere - No one disputes this. No one serious, at least. You cannot spend your way out of the housing crisis. 3. “Concerned neighbors” and labor unions. Google CEQA and have yourself a time. Still riding high off this victory:
  21. So we still have no FG kicker. Cool.
  22. Well it’s a joke that flew over your head.
  23. NGL: I first read this as "Amon Carter." Yeah, that's stupid and all. And implausible. But what do I know? What kind of guy was he, anyway. Other than he hated Dallas.
