  1. Past hour
  2. McLaren could very well lose a race where they had the 2 fastest cars, started 1-2 on the grid and neither car had a wreck or mechanical problem.
  3. While the rest of this is amusing the shitty impact on the Ole Miss players is certainly not. It truly sucks for them.
  4. I was asking a question….the Committee did it to FSU. So how is this different?
  5. YELLOW CARDS FOR EVERYBODY
  6. It makes sense because it takes 2-3 years for someone to get strong enough to hold up inside. It's easier to just find someone in the portal every year that you know can play than taking a handful of high school players for the spots every year to ensure you have starters and depth every season.
  7. @Mitch Cumsteen With regard to Baton Rouge, it is a gigantic shit hole but the campus is nice. Oxford is like fucking Mayberry if it got invaded by a bunch of country club cokeheads. And it’s fucking impossible to get to. BR at least has a fucking airport. Holy shit that is a poetically good description of Oxford.
  8. Except for losing by 24 to Georgia 2 weeks ago?
  9. Bell cow RB is a must. Running game was pure ass this season. Mizzou and Michigan hit the jackpot with portal RBs last offseason. OL needs complete overhaul - will require $3M for 4 starters. Everyone but Will Baker will need to be replaced. Goosby prob late-1st early 2nd rounder. Robertson needs to go back to being a backup. DB room needs a lockdown corner to replace Manny. Kobe Black is inconsistent and Warren Roberson is ass. WR will be tough given the above priorities. K is Shipley getting another year?
  10. Yeah, that's not a plus for KdB. Those two didn't have a great relationship in Seattle.
  11. It seems pretty similar. The truth is the vast majority of teams have a couple shitty looking wins. We are more focused on the ones Texas had, because we are Texas fans. We hear Florida, but very little about FSU when Bama is brought up
  12. Ask? It's Baylor, they wouldn't know how to respond if we asked permission.
  13. Guy's bio is one of the most self-aggrandizing things I have ever seen. https://www.vbattorneys.com/attorneys/brian-beckcom/ Brian Beckcom is one of the leading lawyers of his generation . . . . Trial lawyers tend to be world-class egotists, but geezus criminy.
  14. Agree ... especially this one with the Lance Corporal Prince
  15. The problem is the coaches as a collective want this early signing period, this portal window, etc etc. The group at large doesn't care about the specific impacts on any one school or the sport. They want to generally get recruiting (both HS and the transfer portal) over as quickly as possible going into the New Year. And since most coaches are not playing in a playoff game and the NCAA is a soft cock organization I don't see it changing.
  16. It’s the best thread on the internet. And we have hours more to go. I am waiting to see Kiffin chucked out a window. 🪟
  17. We will likely take 1-2 OL players. Goosby and Baker are back with extensive experience and will have an entire offseason to add weight. Nick Brooks is going to lock up one of the guard spots. He’s too big and talented to sit on the bench. Another offseason will help him too. We need to see if Cruz and Kibble are ready. If so great, but that is where I look in the portal for an experienced center or guard. We don’t need Kelvin Banks. We just need “better than Stroh”. Then we also will have Cojoe back and let’s see if Chatman and the Coleman brothers come on. I probably would also take an experienced tackle that is fine riding the bench incase Goosby or Baker get hurt. As far as WR. Moore is either declaring for the draft only to go undrafted and straight to the practice squad. Or him and Wingo can go play at Missouri, Tenn, UCLA. Those two are getting paid and not producing. Georgia got Noah Thomas, Branch. Aggy got Craver, Conception. There are plenty of very good WRs with experience that would come here to compete. If I’m Sark, I keep Mosley and Livingstone if they aren’t costing much and upgrade the WR1 and WR2 spots. The freshman can leave if they want. Who is going to pay them what they are getting here? None of them outside of McClutcheon warrants top dollar or has proven they can play at this level. They may down the line, but you don’t waste dollars to sit on the bench. We absolutely NEED a stud RB. It may be the biggest need on this team. We don’t have a single back that can do the things Sark requires. Wisner is a good but he’s not a RB1 consistently. Baxter is a shell of his former self. The young guys didn’t instill confidence with their play. If there is one position I throw money at, it’s RB. I think the defense has a ton of young talent. I don’t think we need as many guys on defense. A safety and CB. Maybe a LB and DT for depth. Simmons, January, Watson, Zina. Spence, Lefau, Smith, Littleton, Phillips, Black is a great starting point. Add a few guys for depth and let the young 5 stars compete for depth. I feel much better about the defense than offense as far as holes in the roster.
  18. ND struggled to put up 25 BC with like 5 take aways OU struggled against coachless LSU A&M barely beat Arkansas Alabama was a few butterfingers away from losing to Auburn People can pick on some our struggles but they are not unique. What is unique is texas has been trending uupwhile everyone else is still on the struggle bus while rocking up wins against much stiffer competition.
  19. And it makes it really fucking easy to hire the next guy. "What happened to your last coach?" "He turned his career around and made a couple deep postseason runs and then got hired by an NFL team." "Great where do I sign?"
  20. Newsflash! Housing is more expensive in places that are great places to live.
  21. no dog in this fight but Lane is a certified cunt. He said he needed to pray on it, bullshit. I would terminate him for cause and promote someone on the staff. Or get Saban to coach them in the playoffs Lane is a narcissist and a snake. fuck him
  22. Guy who posted on Xitter: https://www.vbattorneys.com/attorneys/brian-beckcom/ Photo looks like it got some AI help. His reference to playing basketball at aTm is interesting. 23. I feel sorry for the players. They earned the record and worked their asses off for 11-1. So I do feel bad for them. The university should have figured out that he wasn’t coming back when he didn’t re-up pretty quick like 6 sought after coaches already did with their current schools.
