QB1 Arch Manning: Doing his best JAG impression to fool scouts
txexlonghorn23 replied to LTtxfan's topic in Football
He has to go and dominate ou and uga's defense, then we can possibly be in some conversation if oregon, lsu, and miami lose. -
Then either they don’t have it or aren’t spending the money, because they are near the bottom in conference NIL spending

Charlie Kirk assassinated at an event in Utah (by a 22 YO groyper)
TwiceHorn replied to msbesq's topic in Cloak Room
Why would there be a "white person's slot" but for systematic exclusion of non-whites from the spots in question? For the longest time, there was nothing but "white person's slots." -
Baker to Evans for 6.

My grandmother went to Church with Strech’s parents. In 2004 she asked a favor from Strech and then presented me with a ball signed by Biggio, Bagwell, and Berkman. It is one of my most prized possessions, and I love that Strech was involved in getting it to me.

Damn, @immamac Be careful where you step or you'll fall through a grate

I like to read. We should hang out. I am beyond surprise that anyone would catch that.

So is Arch going to win the fucking Heisman this year or what?
-
I used to think that. Now I'm not so sure.
-
This is amazing.

100%. Arsenal have been the culprit of the long throw in for years, it’s maddening as a fan of the club. Haven’t seen it as much this year, but if guys can’t get the ball in there needs to be some kind of penalty.

27 yards on 13 plays. So cool.

Of course not. everyone has a right to counsel. You said you were surprised they would associate with her, presumably because of the reputational risk. In other words, you think she’s a risky client because of how her actions reflect on the firm. No, I’m actually talking about the legal profession- the risk of being disciplined for blatantly unethical conduct is minuscule, but the reputational risk of association with a problematic client is high, despite the fact that EVERYONE has a right to counsel. That doesn’t seem like an ethical crisis to you? You can get away with defrauding the court in service to a client, but god forbid you take on a trashy client.

I just wished Martinelli would’ve have taken the ball and drilled a City player in the head with the ball after scoring.

@PTINS I'm insanely curious what it looks like if Ukraine continues to pound Russian oil & gas infrastructure. There has to be a tipping point where Russia as a nation-state ceases to function in being able to continue hitting Ukraine on the ground. They can squeeze the shit out of the Russian civilian population, and many will take it, but businesses will start closing shop, and things like food distribution will be impacted. It's telling that Russia is still hitting civilian targets (apartments, schools, etc.) rather than trying to hit Ukraine's infrastructure that supports the missile/drone attack son Russia.
