Government Shutdown 2025: This Time It’s Personal

Ah, you missed the liabilities of their own making part. Not difficult to misinterpret my sentence, I'm notably not a wordsmith. Yes, I expect parents to feed their own children. I can't say I ever actually did the math on whether I could feed my own before having them, but apparently that's actually math many should be doing. #butthattaxcredittho -

its on Radford, near the In-n-out -
Saw something about profs leaving schools in the south in record numbers. This should speed up the exit of people from UT. Also - when will they start using the tower bell for Christian hymns?

Did Dr Beeper get banned or did he request that one to be erased as well?
-
Sadly yes. What a shameful moment for this institution.

This is at least his second incarnation since asking for the nuke from orbit request. @King George was one that got crowd-sourced after spreading a bunch of trash info on the flood thread in July.

Would you mind sharing the name of your dispensary with us? -
The Flag Code is open to interpretation. I don't see how the American Legion has a say in it. And on that note, it's also odd when veterans or their organizations somehow decided that they're the keeper of patriotism and flag rules.

If a utility company came on my property to access an easement, I would ask to see the survey or plans showing the easement. All too often, the contractor for the utility company goes well beyond the easement. If they are doing serious work like trenching, I would ask that it be surveyed and staked. The easements on my property run along the property line, so I know the boundaries. Easements that crisscross the property are harder to identify.

Given their string of bs endorsements of his other firings, this one actually surprised me. Trump wanted to clean house at the Fed if he could. You know that Fed Chairthing Laura Loomer would drastically cut interest rates.

I get it, I just said you deserve what's coming to you. You're now at the mercy of a guy having to climb that pole or access pedestals/vaults. It's your choice just as it will be his. Leave the crew some space and all are happy.

Because it was the biggest story in the country for a week or so, led to the Kimmel story which became the biggest story, etc. You would need to have basically zero communication with anything happening outside your home to avoid it. Which sounds kind of awesome right now tbh.

The pre game show for OTF will be at Spurrier's bar. I will absolutely lose if if Spurrier comes on the show and says "CAN'T SPELL CITRUS WITHOUT UT!!"

Elko's got jokes... Texas A&M is currently one of the most penalized teams in college football, averaging close to ten per game. In their four games this season, they've committed 38 penalties for just over 77 yards per game. Now in his fourth season as a head coach (two at Duke and now in year two at A&M), plus six stops as a defensive coordinator, Elko shared he's no stranger to creative strategies to fixing penalties issues. With players getting NIL deals and revenue sharing opportunities now, he and the Aggies staff are rolling out a unique approach that had traditionally been reserved for professional sports. "Alright, so I'll let you guys in on something," Elko started his response off when asked about their approach to limit penalties. "I have tried all kinds of things. So, today, what we started was the Texas A&M Football Coaches Cabo Fund. So what is going to happen now is every time one of our players gets a penalty, they are going to contribute to the Coaches Cabo Fund." "So we will see if that works," he added with a grin, as chuckles from the media could be heard in the background.

The literal personification of the meme you quoted. -
It is worse than that. Hungary was more modern and had a brighter future than the Czech Republic and most definitely Romania in 1990. Romania wasn’t even safe back then and people were pouring out of trains headed west. It looked 10X worse than a crowded NU subway during rush hour - not hyperbole as I would have been very surprised to hear of no deaths.

So Rex asks @immamac to nuke his account from orbit (just to be sure). He "leaves" only to come back with the handle of one of the worst Ticket callers in the three-decade history of the station? That tracks. Also this.

Actual flag vs. flag-themed apparel Most flag etiquette organizations and legal experts draw a clear line between wearing a physical flag and wearing clothing with a flag's likeness. Wearing a physical flag: Draping an actual flag over your shoulders or using it as a cape is considered disrespectful by most Americans and violates the Flag Code. Wearing flag-themed clothing: Items like t-shirts, shorts, or hats that feature the stars and stripes pattern are acceptable to many. The American Legion states that unless an item is made from an actual flag, wearing flag-themed apparel is not a breach of flag etiquette but an expression of patriotism.
