End of Q3 not exciting, everyone 3 tenths off their first laps. Ham gets his 100th pole, max second by a couple 100ths

LeClerc somehow managed to pull a rabbit out of his hat and improved by 2 tenths on his last lap to jump from 7 to 4. I think he was the only one to improve on the last lap in Q3, but it seemed like he also messed up a bit on his first one. Either way, he did as good as possible. No one outside of Perez has a car capable of challenging the top 3.

RIC beats NOR 👀

They didn’t show him much, but I wonder if he had some issue. Pretty sure he posted a better time than that in Q2. I expected him to be the first of the misfield. It still seems like McLaren is slightly faster than Ferrari, but Ric is still a work in progress and something happened with Lando.

Was Yuji Ide the last driver we had that was this shitty? Completely different situation here with Mazepin's dad bankrolling Haas. What happens if and when Mazepin has to have his superlicense yanked?

i do appreciate the in-race strategies that are discussed by the commentators.  those strategies don't get much coverage on Drive to Survive, which makes sense.  bigger things to cover.  but when watching actual races, there is so much more going on.
