Let's get back on track, gentlemen.  Focusness and whatnot.

Wasn't Haslam the guy who pushed through the Watson trade?

I really hope the worst is behind Deion, but God damn he's such a narcassist. He needs his medical team with him to make an announcement about removing his bladder because of cancer? He couldn't just sit down by himself and say what happened? What a clown show.

I'll start by saying I didn't watch the PC, but I'm guessing he did it to highlight the MDs that treated him and to give them a chance to discuss cancer/bladder cancer and the importance of regular doctor's visits. His presence gives them a louder microphone to do that.

Don't be such a douchebag.

Wish him the best,  do question the wardrobe but each to their own.

I think he's all out of fucks to give. His favorite pastime is fishing. Maybe that's just what he rolls with everyday.

I'm with you. He's just a "look at me" guy, but he is who he is. But yeah, a game in Boulder would be the tits. Haven't been there in...Jesus...when was the last time we played there? Boulder is absolutely stunning, and has so many things to do after the game for the weekend. I'm all for it.

Edit: Since you brought up he huffs his own farts, I read an article where he went into a meeting before the draft and asked where the team picked, and when they said something like 6 or whatever, dude straight up got out of his chair and said I'll be gone before then. Kind of a baller move. Lol

Kind of like how his son acted in the draft process.  Wonder where he learned that from?  Someone forget to tell him it only works if you have generational talent.

I share similar sentiments to other posters. I will always feel for anyone facing cancer. Have had 3 friends/business associates with cancer this year. Yes, 3. So from a human angle I truly wish Deion the best.

From a football angle my Telenovella is just not nearly as entertaining without the biggest heel in the script. We don't have many fun characters like Spurier or Pirate around anymore to appreciate/hate on or love. Deion also brings a lot of eyes to the sport I love most. So, despite despising many of his actions and behaviors, I'd rather he was in college football that not.

I'm not being a douchebag, I'm pointing out he wants an audience because he's a "look at me" guy. How many players and coaches who have retired due to illness have had a medical team accompany them to "discuss cancer". Like no shit it's deadly. 80% of people with bladder cancer survive, it's not stage 4 colorectal cancer. Who calls a press conference to announce they had their bladder removed? You don't need an audience, it should be private. Don't be a daft dick.

EDIT: For the record, I'm hoping the worst is behind him, but he doesn't need an audience. It should be a private matter, are you confused? Would you hold a press conference? Almost 20 million people in the US have cancer, and people far more important than Deion Sanders, and they don't say "Hey, everyone, let me tell you about bladder cancer." I don't see these people holding press for their illness. Do you?

Don't act Pius like this is some revelation that people are just now finding out bladder cancer exist. He's a narcassist. He was a great player, but remove his football career and would you have sat there and held on to every word? No. No you wouldn't. You're being a stan for a guy because he either played for your team or because he was a great athlete. I still wish him nothing but the best and hope he's past the worst. He's already lost toes, and he's not in great health.

That's all I'm saying about it. Agree or disagree, I don't care. We both know it was just to get eyes on him.
