That pitcher is an idiot, Zeke would have swung at anything out of the zone

Or is Zeke a genius?

Haven’t been this excited to pick up the Dallas Morning News in a long time. Add it to the collection. The last titles my teams have won.

Man, how I wish my dad could have been here to see this. Biggest Rangers fan ever. I was on the phone with him in 2011 when we needed one more strike. I’ve never heard such a crushed, disappointed rea

You've blown 5 of your last 8 save opps, Chapman.

Stare down or do whatever the fuck you want, just complete the job.

I just realized how massive this chick's tits are.

Nice work Bally.

Interesting that whatever formula espn uses for its playoff likelihood has Seattle and Houston both around 20% higher than Texas, despite the obviously very similar records.

Just looked it up and that's bizarre.

Granted it's assuming that two of us will take the WC spots either way.

Toronto is only a couple of games behind the ALWest pack, so that is far from a certainty.

Sure, and it's far from a certainty that we don't win the division.

Just making the point that they still have us making the playoffs.

Damn near everyone is off on Thursday for whatever reason, so tomorrow is the last game of the month. it’s not crazy to think that all 3 AL west teams could be tied for first entering September baseball.

Odd as Seattle looks to have the toughest schedule in September overall.  Surely they come down to earth.  Stros probably the easiest schedule.

Stros absolutely have the easiest schedule and ours isn't great.

I wonder if a team has ever missed the playoffs in the wild card era with +200 run differential for the season.

They had it really easy against the A's tonight........wait

Also we play them 7 times including finishing out the season with them, and they have 7 with the cheaters to go too.

Down to +174. That 8 game losing streak knocked it down a bit.

Rodriguez sat last night with a pinched nerve issue in his left foot. Remains to be seen on the severity.

Hope he heals and is okay, in October.

What is the 3 way tiebreaker? We have h2h over Seattle but not Houston. It looks like with all of us tied in GB we are the division winner.

They don't want to compete with the first NFL game.

NFL does not start tomorrow. At least I hope not. The fantasy leagues I’m in all have their draft this weekend.

NFL starts the first Thursday after Labor Day the past several years.

OK, you're right. Maybe they set it up that way to make room for makeup games. Who the hell knows. Baseball does weird shit.

Well, if any team in history were to accomplish this, it'd be the Rangers.

Fucking Red Sox.

Seriously. I watched about 10 minutes of that game before turning it off. They play with the urgency of a last place team with 2 games left in the season.

Fuck you fuck you fuck you you shitty fucking ump

If anyone wonders why they keep Vogelbach

Hope you enjoyed the look at it, Jonah.

Some really good ABs in the last 2 to 3 innings. Even Heim on that called 3rd strike had a nice AB fighting off pitches.

Come on Garcia.
