I’m still not a fan of Pena in the 2 spot. I like him at 9 with Diaz catching but it is what it is. I know he was successful there last post season and has been doing better of late so not a huge deal.

Statistically, 8th is his best spot but it isn’t a landslide over 2nd. The problem is  that, if he hits 2nd, it moves some of our big guns down a slot.

Dusty would have benched Big Puma

He would have benched Big Puma, but he would have cut Fat Elvis.

This is sad, watching Greinke.

I bet he was one of those guys who said he would he would be able to give up the game, before the game was done with him.

Well, unfortunately, the game is done with him.

(uhhh and if he doesn’t it’s not like machete is going to cut him down)

Misspelled Javier

Who would you rather hit at #9.

Maldy? or Greinke

This is as simple as 1+1

Dude can swing it.

Good job getting the pitcher up this inning.

I am pretty sure that when I last checked, Greinke has a higher OPS than Machete.

How the fuck is that not a strike jesus

That AB was worse than a cripple fight

And guess who is at third… I really hope he’s the one guy on the crew not behind home plate this series

He’s dead fucking last in HPU accuracy this year. Here was Angel’s scorecard last night.

Greinke career batting average .225

Fatty McFatass career batting average .207

I remember him pinch hitting in the playoffs, and getting a hit.  Was it against Boston?  Or in WS versus Nats?

Did he pinch hit for that Fuck Fucking Sack of Lard?

We really do play down to our competition.

That passed ball is going to cost us a run, isn't it?

Javier gonna Javier the 2nd half of the season

Yep.

The Royals are lucky to have a Catcher that can hit .250+ and bat third in their lineup, that's such a luxury these days.

Perez is a potential HOFer.  I'd be happy with a catcher who can fucking catch and hit .200

Fun fact: Yainer Diaz has no passed balls this season.

Dusty Baker's favorite catcher now has 11.

Do they bring this up when Dusty is kissing Moldy's ass and cutting down Diaz?

I have 6 different bottles of bourbon on my bar, plus several other styles of liquor to make 20+ options, and I don't think that's going to be enough to make it through the rest of the season with this team.

Apparently catching the ball is an overrated part of being a catcher... along with throwing people out and hitting the ball

Shit, I keep thinking he'll come around.

But he's flatlining.  It's very bad.  Career very bad.

The good news is that we tend to play the good teams well. The bad news is that we tend to play the bad teams so poorly, we might not even get to play the good teams.

Rangers were playing chess against us. If they just let us average 10 runs a game for 3 games we will never score again the rest of the season. Long game.

At least the guardians are doing us a solid. Hopefully the dodgers will as well

Altuve just watched a fastball right down the middle of the plate. JFC
