They've been killing Americans since 1967

And in 1991 when the crew were formally awarded a Presidential citation at the White House, President George H. W. Bush did them dirty and just waved at them from a distance. That little action right there sounded like somebody who sided with Israel over our own military.

Yep. Israel is way too big for their britches and things are starting to catch up to them.

They are also creating the conditions for a future attack that will probably be far bigger than the 2023 attack - they are creating way too many would-be terrorists who feel like they have nothing to lose.

A whole lot of this, which seems to be largely lost in the shuffle/conversation.

Imagine that you are a kid in/from Gaza.  Say, age 8-16.  When this is over, and you are either in what's left of Gaza, or you are in exile somewhere....how much hatred and rage will you be carrying around inside you?  If even a fraction of a percentage of those people conclude that vengeance against Israel and Israelis must be their life's work, that's a shitload of terrorists who aren't even motivated by a political goal (a free Palestine, what have you).  No, they're motivated by a desire to inflict pain.  Massive pain. Incalculable pain.  Because that was what was inflicted on them.

If one of them someday gets the chance to deploy a weapon of mass destruction - gas, bioweapon, nuke -- against Israel, aren't they going to jump a the chance?

The chances of an existential attack against Israel in the next 20 years have gone UP, exponentially, as a result of this war.  That's the maddening part.  What Israel is doing isn't just cruel and evil, it's fucking counterproductive in the long run.

Yeah I mean I have been beating this drum since Oct 7, and have dealt with a ton of abuse from some of the freaks that loved to post in this thread as a result. That is, until their position became obviously untenable, and now only the biggest idiots still chime in from time to time. Also, there are still a good number of hawkish liberals that post here that firmly support Israel's genocide, they're just smart enough not to post about it anymore.

At any rate, my position has always been that the Oct. 7 attack was not an opening shot, it was simply an inevitable reaction to Israel's decades of prior action. Their subsequent actions have only guaranteed, as you said, that the next attack will be much worse. Their plan to stop it from happening seems to be just to kill and/or remove every Palestinian and hope for the best. The problem with that strategy is, in the process they have succeeded only in radicalizing most of the world against them, and doing so under a false veneer of Judaism which only serves to put Jews worldwide in greater danger.

I warned for months and months and months, over and over and over, that Israel's strategy would only succeed in burning up every bit of remaining goodwill they had left (aside from the diehard, wealthy Zionists and Congress critters in the US of A) and making it a worldwide pariah from which there was little chance of return. Lo and fucking behold, I was exactly right all along.

The fact that so many people just refuse to recognize the unbelievable irony in how closely their actions mirror the actions of their former Nazi oppressors still blows my fucking mind. Open a goddamn history book, please people!

In the past, when a radical cleric in Israel or Saudi Arabia was beating the drum about how evil Israel was, it was easy to get lost in the shuffle. The sky is blue, OU sucks, Israel is evil, bleh bleh bleh bleh.

Now those same radical clerics have Israel publicly fulfilling the claims of what those clerics were saying. That's great for recruiting, bad for Israeli citizens.
