Not only did that retard play Sanchez against a LHP but he hit him 6th. No big deal, just a disgusting AB with men On 1/2. We have a team full of LHP killers and that’s what he does?
gross.

Espada once again fails basic intelligence test hitting Sanchez against LHP. He has like a sub 10 ops+ against LHP. Dumb fuck.

As evidenced by that at bat. We don’t have much else to throw out there but he is basically an auto out against LHP

6 batters and 16 pitches thrown. It's amazing how bad this team is at working counts without Paredes.

Trammell would have been a better play this season because he's got a better OPS against LHP than RHP, though it's a small sample size.

Are the Wankees still using the torpedo bats or is that over?

I'm sure.  It was never a thing, just a 3 game hot streak.

yep

I think the difference and the reason he wanted Sanchez in LF was for his defense, though it makes ample sense to play Dubon in left and Urias at second base

Ha, the ump Jordan Baker blocking out Boone is a big dude.  Sparky said on the radio yesterday he was the only guy in the stadium bigger than Judge.

Damn, I want that Costanza desk nap bobblehead

Sanchez was 5-for-11 with a HR and one K 1.182 OPS vs Fried going into this matchup so what do I know.

Ex fucking zactly. This isn’t checkers or even long division.
and now Sanchez is up again in an important position.
if you stupidly play him against a left instead of Dubon and urias which is the right call, then fucking hit him 9th.

what's the deal with Dubin?

He pitched last night for Sugar Land and threw 1.2 IP with 3 K and no runs allowed

Would think he’s back after the road trip ends.

Dana pregame:

Dubin: got him a few back to backs (during rehab). Good chance we get him in the next series. Wanted to see him be able to do that before coming back because will need him to do that in Houston

Javier expected to start in the Red Sox series

De Los Santos: big dude 94-96, chance to have a decent slider. Dog days of summer need some arms, give him a shot. Like his arm strength and think our guys can do something with him

Correa: re: playing 3B. Welcomed it with open arms. Off to a good start. Swinging bat well. Much needed leadership as well.

Yordan: in Florida. Not yet facing live pitching. Taking batting practice on the field, felt pretty good. Has his day off today. See how he feels tomorrow and get back at it. Felt good coming off the field. Hope he continues to feel good. Hope to get him back sooner than later because we’re gonna need him.

lulz

meyers: hitting running and throwing. Hasn’t ramped it up yet. Gradual buildup. After we go through this a little longer, get him out on a rehab but he’s moving along nicely

Huugggge Cam!

if that’s the 7th inning or later he’s being PH for and doesn’t even get the chance.

Hopefully that kick starts him again

Great AB.

Fried got fucked on what should have been Strike 3.  Automated B&S needs to be implemented yesterday.

Glad for the work done by Cam, but I hate the pitch calls being missed, on anyone.

Ump has been trash, but I'm just gonna say that the missed call on Cam was the baseball gods evening out the luck after Chas lost an RBI on the ground rule double.
