I'm Haooy for the commit, but it's a long ways to go. Chris Stewart being the exception, not the rule. Stewart is a good WR, so I'm Haooy he's stuck it out. Outside of a few WR's and mostly QBs, these are battles.

Kid is going to be a monster.. Started out as a safety and has already outgrown that. With that frame, he could end up being an edge EDGE.

Love to see the source on that. Lulz

I've known his mom for a long time she posted it on Facebook awhile back.

Taven's uncle Garrett Tidwell was the Boyd QB when they won state back in the aughts.

Great kid from a great family. Super happy to see him on the Longhorns

Epps is from North Texas and his whole family is Sooner fans. He committed here last season when it looked like Venables was on the hot seat

I heard he benches 165 .lbs.

Total wuss. Connor Stroh benches 170 lbs.

I honestly expected this to happen when someone reminded me months ago. I said he'll probably look around and we aren't even close to entering our final form for 2027.

I would bet we aren't out of it for Epps. We'll be good.

We can haz whatever 2027 QB you want? I hope we can pry away Elijah Haven from Bama (unlikely), Gunner Rivers, Cotton Nussmeier, Jayce Johnson (aggy commit out of GA), etc.

Sark is a demon witch when he eyes a QB he really, really wants. Always a five-star.

What we really need, and I'm serious because I'm sick of teams like LSU, Auburn, Aggy, Bama, get five-star WRs year after year. We need to up our WR game rather than betting on the Kohen Brown's, Chris Stewart's, Jaggerson's (outlier), Freddie Dubose's (no clue why we even signed him knowing he would never be the same) of the world. We're right in a state near Mississippi, Louisiana, we recruit FL, AL, and GA, so we have to land both five-star WRs and RB's for this offense. Better talent will equal better RZ scores.

Five-stars like Wingo have finally shown something, but he's our only five-star that has seen the field consistently

Kaliq Lockett should turn out to be a good one

Isaiah Bond - was a former five-star who was good until his injury and Golden took over. Great transfer, imo. Speed kills.

Jaime Ffrench top-50 We shall see

Michael Terry III - if used right he can be a freak athlete and a big WR like DK Metcalf, Corey Davis, Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, Jeremiah Smith, Rueben Randle, Dwayne Jarrett, Dwayne Bowe, Bryant Wesco, Jr,  Patrick Turner, JaMarr Chase, etc (these are just big WR's in the same mold, not comparing skill-set). Basically, LSU has made a living off of these types

What we have done well is get the most out of a couple four-star guys like Moore Jr, McCutcheon (shows promise), Golden,

Whiffed on for various reasons that aren't on the staff:

Johntay Cook - bust

Aaron Butler - TBD (possible transfer)

Brennan Thompson - has shown out at MSU, but failed at both UT and ou

Same can be said for five-star RB's as of late-

Only one

Baxter - unfortunate injury, but plus pass blocker and pass catcher

Derek Cooper - depending on service and we'll see if he sticks (he seems solid)

But other than that we're living on a four-star in Simon, Gibson (already transferred), and three-star guys like Wisner (dawg. Outlier), Clark (who knows, he's a frosh), Stewart Jr (who knows, he may transfer).

in order to maximize our team, we have to land the five-star WRs and RB's even if just to ouy-talent other teams with similar talent.

Imagine Bijan on this team. He would help a lot with blocking, pass catching, his smooth cutting ability, but he's not.

Not even worried about defense in the least. We're good there.
