To be ever-so-slightly fair to Harden, it looks like something in the realm of a third of those low FGM games are from his time in OKC, coming off the bench on a team making annual deep playoff runs. Obviously, LeBron, Steph, and KD were never bench players, nor were they immediately playing playoff basketball as rookies and young players.

Even if you take away a 3rd of each of those numbers he's still WAY out in front.

I went to a game there this season for the first time. Everything about that arena and fanbase is low rent.

denver should entertain something new with Joker and his rest. instead of gassing him the entire first, take a time out with 90 seconds left,  in the first and 3rd qtrs, rest him then, TV time out, and a min or so into the 4th, thatd almost be 10 min

Despite his playoff ineptitude, it's still Harden. First, he was a significantly better regular season player than Westbrook, and that should count for something. Second, Russ hasn't exactly bathed himself in glory in the playoffs.

I nominally care, but if I am looking at the two of them I will choose Russ. That guy always, always, always brings it. When Durant abandoned ship he was still there trying to win. He makes some really ridiculous mistakes at times, but he’s never been called a quitter like Harden correctly has. Consistently disappearing game after big game when the lights are brightest makes me choose Russ.

Also his quote recently about what his job in Denver is just makes me like him more. He’s there to F stuff up. His level of self-awareness about his shortcomings on the court also makes me enjoy watching him play. He talked about that after Game 7 I believe.

not sure why Denver is putting Joker on the block over and over. Seems to play into OKC defensive strength.  I would have thought more top of the key action to initiate the offense.

right now they have Joker neutralized

damn! that gordon dunk
