simone biles wins an award where every other nominee was a man, meaning she beat all of them out for the award, and the very first thing out of her mouth is a comment about women being held back by men. shit is insufferable.

i posted this on twitter, and now ive got a whole lot of women super mad at me, yet ive never been more popular with the maga crowd:

in all seriousness i wish more people realized that you can be tired of gen z/modern athletes’ commoditization of victimhood and it doesn’t make you some sort of hateful nazi. there is some gray area between viscerally hating all men and whatever Turner “Fat Nuts” Crawdad believes in.

It might not make you some sort of hateful Nazi but it does make you insufferable.

simone biles going out of her way to make herself a victim is what’s insufferable. women have *literally* never been less oppressed/more supported by men than they are right now, *doubly so* for athletes. is it seriously too much to ask this generation of human beings to just win your award without immediately making your speech all about what an oppressed victim you are? especially when you’re basically the least oppressed athlete of all time? she quit in the middle of the olympics and was called a hero for it. listening to her bitch about how men oppress her the moment she wins yet another award is nauseating.

i don’t remember the last time i gave out a “fuck you” rep (i’ve stated repeatedly that this is an intentionally combative and inflammatory rep option seeing as it’s the only neg rep option available), but you people who go out of your way to victimize yourselves (especially when you’re a member of/claiming to represent a member of protected and exalted class) and act like it’s everyone else who is “insufferable” are the absolute worst.

also, as a mentally ill person, if i can borrow some lingo from @David Dennison and the rest of the insufferable SJW’s/perma-victims, simone biles needs to check her privilege. she quit on her team and her country in the middle of the biggest moment of all of their lives and she was a hero for it because she did it for “mental health” reasons, even though she’s not actually mental ill, just under the typical pressure of an olympic athlete.

do you think any actually mentally ill people get to just tell their team, employer, subordinates, etc “hey i’m leaving right now and coming back whenever i feel like it at an undetermined time” and have it go over well? you think they get treated like heroes? how do you think it’s gone in my life whenever i needed to take time off work for my actual, real, life altering mental health reasons? you think i was treated like a hero? do you think i got even a modicum of understanding or support from my bosses and coworkers?

this chick has lived her entire life in a fairytale bubble where everything she does is perfect, where she’s one of the top 1% of the top 1% of athletes of all time, in an era where women have more support and less oppression than they ever have, and she *still* won’t shut the fuck up about how men oppress her and all women. yeah. your take sucks, my take is correct, and i’m gonna stand by it. fuck people with uber privileged and easy lives who play the victim for the love and support that it gets them, and who bastardize mental health awareness without actually doing anything good for anyone who’s actually mentally ill. simone needs to take her uber privileged ass, accept her award, and fuck off without the ad hominem bullshit about how oppressive and terrible men are. fuck all of that, and fuck anyone so eager to be faux virtuous that they defend it.

You may be overreacting just a bit.

She brings up being a woman twice.

At the very beginning she says "that [winning the award] was very unexpected, especially in a category of all men," and at the very end she says she believes in the power of "she." 2 seconds of her speech. The rest was thanking her teammates and those that believed in her and helped her while she struggled. Pretty innocuous as far as I can tell.

Wait, an ESPN creation to fill dead air time in  one of the slowest sports news times in the year, filled with made up awards in made up categories, voted upon by the people who watch ESPN and care enough to vote isn't full of true content and is stretched to fit a time space?

Huh....

Her career took place in the immediate wake of the Nasser shit so I’ll give her a pass on the man hating.  Gymnastics is one of the most fucked up sports and few of the elite ones emerge mentally unscathed.

MLK going out of his way to make himself a victim is what’s insufferable. blacks have *literally* never been less oppressed/more supported by whites than they are right now in 1961, *doubly so* for athletes. is it seriously too much to ask this generation of human beings to just win your award without immediately making your speech all about what an oppressed victim you are? especially when you’re basically the least oppressed black man of all time?  listening to him bitch about how whites oppress him is nauseating.

She was sexually abused by Larry Nassar and had to discuss that publicly for the world to see.  The fuck are you talking about a "fairytale bubble."  You're just being a misogynist little shit.

i’ll say it again: women have literally never been less oppressed or more supported by men. it is *nauseating* to have to constantly hear how women are oppressed by men when it’s just not even true, particularly for her specifically. “i’m him so surprised that i, a woman (gasp!), won an award vs men.” is it? no, it’s not. especially not this award on this network. just take your award and stfu about oppressed you are for one moment do your life. it’s such a beating.

yes, simone biles life and the oppression she faces truly does mirror that of MLK.

i’m being a misogynist? please quote that part for  me if you would, i’d love to see it.

the abject irony of you sjw zealots to say i’m being a misogynist because i don’t like that a female went out of her way to trash all men is too much.

IMG_7527.thumb.jpeg.27d5e7f43e4efc72000b753da024c463.jpeg

she talks shit about men as a whole for absolutely no reason at all, and i’m the one who hates women for being sick of hearing that shit every time i try to watch tv. yeah, that adds up.

Didn’t Biles quit the Olympics because she got the spins? That’s not really mental health related, that’s a balance/equilibrium issue that’s pretty dangerous for gymnasts. She lost the ability to orient herself during flips.

and here we have a quote from somebody who clearly does not have a single woman in their life who feels comfortable enough with them to have any sort of substantive discussion

we’re talking about the espy’s here. who has done more to empower and shine a spotlight on women than espn has? i would say nobody in the world of sports, and very few (if any) entities outside of the world of sports. the idea that it was super shocking for simone to win an espn award when she’s up against men is just not true. she’s in the safest of safe spaces for empowering women and the very first thing out of her mouth is some total BS about how shocking it was for her to win an espn award against male nominees. again- that’s just not true.

also if you’ve been posting around me for any amount of time and you think i have any sort of problem with women or even an ounce of misogyny in me, then you haven’t been paying attention and don’t know me at all.

i’m 100% all for women’s empowerment- im also beyond sick of the never ending victim parade when im just trying to watch some sports programming. in this case, for this woman, at this event, on this network, to make some ad hominem comment about women being held down by men, was especially egregious. take your award, thank your people, and stop lecturing me about oppressed you are when it couldn’t be further from the truth.
