Oh.. so 2023 is too long ago with Xavier and Whittington? And filling those losses with some transfers last year Golden, Bolden and Bond last year while some talent was developed for this year is the issue. After game 2 when we have the top TD receiver in the nation. I see now.
Dude, there is shit to worry about but WRs isnt fucking one of them.

Sark brought in 3 transfer WR’s last year to supplement a 2024 WR room in need of development which consisted of Deandre Moore, Johntay Cook, Ryan Niblett, Freddie DuBose, Ryan Wingo, Aaron Butler and Parker Livingstone. We then lost Cook to the transfer portal, DuBose to medical retirement and Niblett to position roulette. Wingo still can’t catch and Moore has been a non-factor this year.

Only one of these WR’s has actually been productive (Parker) and been on the same page with Arch this year. Yet, you would posit that our homegrown WR development is of no concern right now. We shall see soon enough.

Were Golden and Bolden “homegrown” talent? No. They were transfer WR’s who had already established themselves elsewhere and it was the primary reason why Sark recruited them to transfer here. He didn’t recruit them to be developed here, either. He brought them here to perform. Our “homegrown” WR’s, on the other hand, were brought in to be developed. And that development, outside of Parker and the true freshman who are still learning the ropes, is looking questionable right now.

So, you DO give a shit about whether WR’s are “homegrown” until you don’t, but even then, you still do, and then ignore two current NFL regulars who are, because if you don’t, you’re wrong? Did I get that right?  Fucking idiot

You mean the two NFL homegrown regulars (non-transfers) who came onboard before Sark took over the program in 2022? That’s the pinnacle of the homegrown WR development under Sark right now. Parker may be the next homegrown NFL talent. Wingo and Moore still have much to prove right now, though I do believe that they have the right NFL measurables to get drafted (albeit later) if they don’t turn it up a few notches before then. Hopefully, they do.

If you don’t recognize Xavier Worthy as “homegrown” under Sark the you’re too fucking retarded to deal with.

Speaking of…multiple Surly Geniuses were openly lobbying for Xavier Worthy to transfer during his sophomore year. So yeah, let’s close the book on Wingo and Moore….

Look, posting this kind of shit tells everyone here you are either too dumb to understand what other people are saying to you or just a blatant troll. Either way, you're not worth anyone's time.

You're considering Johntay Cook a loss?

Cook was Syracuse's leading receiver against Tennessee. The young man might just be turning his life around and live up to his potential.

Hope he does, but in a much larger sample size he caught about 15 passes in two years.
